We came to this restaurant because of a recommendation from the owner of a nearby gluten free bakery. She told us to ask specifically for the owner, Christine, who was very willing to find gluten free options and understands the precautions needed for celiac.
We did as suggested, and Christine was indeed knowledgeable and gracious. She indicated she would make our food personally after washing the wok and all the utensils. She indicated that with advance notice many things could be made gluten free, but since we arrived on a Saturday dinner rush, she was more limited. She checked with us for general preferences and other allergies and then asked us to trust her to make something for us.
The food was great!
Christine also eats gluten free (not celiac) and clearly had researched all her ingredients. She also indicated everything was made by her, with minimal processed food.
