The owner was so kind, knowledgeable and clear about ordering gluten free. The food was absolutely delicious, it felt so strange and freeing to eat Chinese food again without the belly ache!! And my mom who gets very sick from cross contamination had no issues!! So they must be very careful about keeping things clean and separate. We came at the end of the night too. I ordered the sesame chicken (was expecting it to be breaded but it was not. Still delicious!), pork fried rice, and both pork and vegetable dumplings. We got the spring rolls for free! Everything was so delicious and the prices are excellent!

My daughter has celiac. We saw a lot good reviews about this restaurant for gluten free options on fb and we went. We ordered gluten free steam dumplings, gluten free chicken broccoli, gluten free shrimp fried rice on the phone with the owner, he seemed very knowledgeable to use gluten free soy sauce for the gluten free dishes. The quantity of the order is big, fully packed inside the containers, but they don’t look so appetizing. The worst thing is my daughter had diarrhea before she even finished her meal. I don’t think this is a safe place to order gluten free Chinese food. The cross contamination must be the main cause. Gluten free food is not only by using gluten free soy sauce. Maybe the pot he steamed the dumplings is also for steam other non gluten free dishes, maybe he made the gluten free chicken broccoli inside the wok used to cook regular dishes. I do not recommend this place for someone has celiac. I will not go back again.

I LOVE this place!! I’ve had celiac for 10 years and I wish I found this place sooner. I can’t speak positively about their cross contamination possibilities, but they have assured me they do their best and I have never had any sort of reaction with the countless times I’ve eaten there. The gluten free dumplings and egg rolls are to die for.

The manager is also super nice! He always gives me free things and extra food!

Went to China Grill in Massapequa Park! Was an outstanding GF find! They made gluten free dumplings and eggs rolls along with many other yummy dishes! The cook/owner was very knowledgeable about celiac and cc. He has different fryers and different pans for GF. He even gave us free GF egg rolls and free GF cookies with our order! Nothing that came in our box order wasn’t GF! It was yummy and felt super healthy afterward! Definitely worth the trip! Edit to add: I am gluten sensitive not celiac but my child does have celiac. Neither of us had a reaction.

Owner marks every item as GF which was comforting.

The owner is a SWEETHEART. Much of the menu can be made gluten free. You just have to ask! Gluten free spring rolls! And the occasional freebie because like I said: the owner is a sweetheart.

I found this place on this app! It’s about 45 mins from me and I’d go back again and again! I had gluten free orange chicken, sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, boneless spare ribs and egg rolls! It was a feast! They were all delicious. Major plus there was no cross contamination and being celiac I can assure everything was gluten free. Delicious!

I was so skeptical. So was my wife, who doesn’t have celiac. It looks like a normal Chinese take out. The man at the counter, who is a sweetheart, was patient and talked us through what he COULDN’T make gf- because most of the menu could be. I wound up having chicken with string beans, because how do you mess that up, right? He saw my hesitation and asked if I wanted to try egg rolls. I’m so glad I did. They were flaky and delicious and just a little greasy like they ought to be. And they’re made in a dedicated fryer. China Grill is the real deal, and they really care about doing it correctly.
