We used to have a favorite crew, but they have mostly all moved on. That said, Chipotle is a great place to eat with a gluten allergy as they can take precautions to prepare your food as safely as possible - as long as you ask them as soon as you get to the counter. They will put on new gloves - and they will even swap out utensils if you need them to do so. And the only food items you cannot really have is flour tortillas from here. *Please note, however, as with anywhere in public, some employees are more knowledgeable than others, and there is STILL a risk of cross-contamination. I am highly allergic, but have rarely if ever had an issue at this location...and I can watch them carefully through the glass to educate if necessary.
**New app will allow you to order easily - but there is no way to indicate a gluten allergy. I've ordered and then called immediately to make sure that they add a note to the ticket - they know us, and they have taken great care of us.

One of the limited places we can eat due to my husband having to always eat gluten free. He has never had a problem with cross contamination here and the food is great. I also love the food which is a plus!

Awesome service! Changed gloves, used different tongs, everything is gluten free except for the floor tortillas.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Pretty good for fast food, but not sure I trust them to not cross contaminate.
Go there weekly.. I have never been sick from eating here. I get a bowl with chicken and all the fixings!! I can usually save half the bowl for later bc it's so much food!!
not a single person working when I are there today understood GF food prep. never heard of it they said. had to convince the prep person to change gloves.
One of the best places to eat GF and actually feel full! I recommend a steak bowl with avocados.
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.
