Too much cross contamination going on. I ordered a burrito bowl with a small amount of brown rice, chicken, pico, hot sauce and a small amount of cheese. I suffered for that meal. I’m not sure that changing the gloves would help since all the scoops they use touch the flower Tortilla shells. The scoops then go back into the containers after touching the shells.

They have already touched the gluten containing bowls then touched all the other ingredients. It doesn't matter if they change their gloves, cross contamination has already happened. Before I realized that, I was sick before I was away from the table.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Worked great for me. Always ask the first person to change their gloves and walk you down the food line. Good option on the way to the airport.
They went to extra effort to make my daughters meal safe. Though not all their employees were knowledgable, but at least one of them was very!

Incredibly knowledgable staff! One of the few places I trust!

Great ambience and a staff committed to serving Celiac people! Love the brown rice bowls!!
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
