If you ask the workers to change their gloves and notify them you have a gluten allergy they will make the necessary accommodations. Isn’t always perfect as it highly depends on the worker, but have had many good experiences here. Always practice safety at a chain!

After reading the reviews we decided to check it out and all the reviews are right on. They changed gloves and they also had a separate bin of cheese so there would not be cross contamination when they grab it.
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
It's Chipotle. What can I say?
Pretty standard policies and this location is always doing a great job. This is my favorite one.
They are very knowledgable about their product and also change their gloves
We are merely intolerant but I am highly dairy intolerant as well. Burrito bowls and corn tortilla items. Love the cilantro lime rice. We love Chipotle. I only wish there were a drive thru so I can pick up on the run with cranky little ones.

My first words were, "I'm celiac, so" and before I could finish a sentence he started changing his gloves and washed his hands. First time at a Chipolte. Nice place.
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
