I love Chipotle. There's only one item that they serve that contains gluten. And only one item that contains Dairy. The soft tortillas at the very beginning of the line are the only wheat item. So if you get a burrito bowl instead of a tortilla at the beginning and let them know there's an allergy, they will change their gloves and the rest of the line is good. For dairy-free, just popped out on the cheese! We have never gotten sick at Chipotle, at any location.

As soon as we said we needed gluten, the server washed his hands and put on new gloves. The rest went great and nobody got sick. We will definitely eat there again.
I've eaten here many times and never had any issues! I'm very sensitive to cross contamination so Chipotle is my go to and one of very few places I feel safe to eat out at!

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Stopped here a few weeks ago and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. They took their time to explain things as it was our first visit to a Chipotle. Later, one of the staff came to our table to make sure everything was OK.

Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
