There were zero precautions taken when I said I was gluten free, though I didn't use the word allergy. in fact she changed gloves to do my nephew burrito then finished my bowl. They were nice and the food was fresh though.

I started my order saying I had celiac. The server immediately changed his gloves and called for fresh lettuce & cheese( as they reach in those containers with their gloved hands.) Without my needing to ask. I had no cross contamination issues. I will be back!
Yes
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
As soon as we told staff we were gluten free 1 wiped down area while another washed his hands and put on new gloves. The manager brought clean spoons and fresh lettuce and made sure his staff were doing all this. All with a smile.

I have had Chipotle several times in the past few months, and I have never once had a problem! On one occasion, the server who started my food off heard that I had an allergy and changed his gloves, but forgot to tell the rest of the line to change theirs. I noticed it as they were preparing it, and they were more than happy to remake my food entirely.
They are incredibly allergen-conscious and they don't make an uncomfortable big-deal out of it. Highly recommend for fast food that's safe!
Yes
tell them you have a food allergy and they got your back.they will get toppings from a separate container if you ask.
Excellent..changed their gloves and gave me ingredients from gluten free containers :)
The fact that the staff is happy to change their gloves is sweet, however, it won't necessarily make a difference if they've already been reaching into ingredients with traces of wheat on previously worn gloves. The thought is quite appreciated though.
Sincerely,
A Celiac's Disease Glutard :-)
Burrito bowls are always good.
Changed their gloves as soon as I mentioned gluten free.

Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
