Chipotle is one of my favorite restaurants! I feel confident eating here, and it’s one of my go-to spots in a pinch. However, (as some of the other reviews mentioned) it is important to know what to say! It’s pretty much the same for all Chipotle locations- ask them to change their gloves for your allergy. In my experience (with many, many chipotles) there have never been any issues at all with this. Then, that same person will take you down the line and take care of your food. Usually, the only ones that mess this up are the newbies, but the manager will almost always step in if there is concern. Please remember- YOU NEED TO ASK FOR ACCOMMODATIONS. For example, if you are more sensitive, ask them to change the spoons in the containers. Also, in terms of cross contamination, it is essential that you have them get ingredients like cheese and lettuce from under the counter! As always, go with you gut- if it feels unsafe, get a new one made. Personally, I’ve never gotten sick at a Chipotle, but I do understand how it could happen. Although it is unfortunate that there has to be these reminders, I have had really awesome experiences with Chipotle. It has saved me when traveling so many times, and I feel very safe when going there.

Bad reaction after Eating chips got pain because not Gluten free
Do not go to the Chipotle in Lincolnshire. Especially in evening hours, they were asking me what they should do. Wouldn't they know this?!?!?! Bad place.
No
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
