Excellent experience- they immediately changed out spoons, gloves, and wiped down the counters before preparing my bowl. They got fresh ingredients from the back for items that weren’t added with a spoon. They were all very kind about it too which is an added bonus.

This location goes above and beyond than other chipoltles. Changes gloves and spoons. Uses uncontaminated lettuce and cheese from the back. Made my day :)

The staff knew exactly what to do. I felt so safe eating here
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
They do a good job on minimizing any gluten by using new spoons, clean counter and one person does the entire bowl. It's very busy so they were not the happiest to stop for gluten free.
Yes
Five stars for the effort they put into this restaurant being Celiac friendly. There is a risk of cross contamination, as there is with any buffet/cafeteria style food service, but they do their best to clear all the spoons out and use fresh ones and change their gloves. They really do take you seriously and there is never a doubt that they don't know what GF means!
Yes
They really take gluten-free diets seriously. Everything is gluten-free except the flour tortillas of course. When you tell them you need gluten-free they wash their hands and put on new gloves. Then they'll use clean spoons for all the stuff you want and take out a new untouched cheese and lettuce if you want either. My girl friend and I go here at least three times a week just because we know it will be gluten-free and delicious. Best gf-friendly place at Purdue!!!
I appreciate their variety of gluten free options. My daughter complains about the beans being spicy but she’s just a picky eater overall. She does enjoy the rice, queso, chicken, chips, etc. I like that I can get her a full kids meal here.

A manger is celiac and makes an effort however there is a lot of cross contamination and any type of veggie will have gluten contamination because the quesadillas are cut on the same cutting boards all veggies are cut on with minimal sanitizing and no discretion of which one is veggies only

Yikes. I've seen some Chipotle's that are fairly safe but today was not it. The server knew what cross contamination was, and she changed gloves, washed her hands, wiped down the counter, but while she was wiping everything down crumbs were falling back into the bins, and I was watching them serve before hand and the ladles would brush right against the tortillas before going back into the containers. It was probably right after the rush too. Didn't even bother ordering because I knew I'd be sick.

Not celiac level gluten free friendly, unable to get food from the back and don’t really understand cross contamination!
