The staff here was SO RUDE!!! My husband and I decided to stop in for lunch. I have celiac disease so sensitive that if my husband eats gluten and then kisses me, I'll get sick. He informed the worker that I have celiac disease and both our bowels would need to be gluten free. She VERY rudely said, "like that's an allergy?" And rolled her eyes. We explained no, it's an autoimmune disease. She changed her gloves but didn't wipe the countertop or change serving utensils. Then another worker asked what I wanted after running her hands along the prep area. I asked her to change her gloves and she refused. Instead she took orders for the people behind me. Behind her, two other workers kept looking at me and giggling. I finally spoke up and explained the seriousness of my AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE to which they responded with eye rolls.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I live in Ohio and the chipotle workers there are fantastic!!!! All I have to do is say I have celiac disease and everyone stops what they're doing, washes hands, wipes the prep area, uses fresh utensils, and changes gloves without me even having to ask or feel bad. The workers at this store have serious "better than thou" attitudes and obviously couldn't be bothered to actually DO THEIR JOB.
I will NEVER eat here again.
The menu is simple and straight to the point.
The staff is good about changing their gloves when I alert them to my inability to consume gluten.
Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
