Gave me an allergy chart as soon as I mentioned having Celiacs. Just the flour tortillas have gluten in them. I usually opt for the bowl anyway. There is a disclaimer that there could be cross contamination in corn salsa and corn chips from being in field. They also changed their gloves before I even asked.

Notes

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.

From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."

I've been to Chipotle's in the past and the location in Brick NJ is by far the most friendly and helpful, both pre and post GF. So this was my first time here since being diagnosed with celiac. I've read on their website to notify the first person that takes your order about any gluten sensitivities and they will change their gloves.I still feel strange making special requests, but I asked the young lady taking my order if she could change her gloves and let her know the reason for my request. She was more than happy to do so, not only did she remove her gloves, she washed her hands before putting on new gloves.Well I was pretty impressed at this point, but it only gets better. The manager (who after a brief conversation later introduced himself as Jordan the general manager), started bring over clean serving utensils for each topping item. He asked if I would like lettuce and cheese, when I responded in the affirmative, he pulled out new containers of lettuce and cheese from the fridge. The staff asked some asked some really informed questions and offered some tips for dining at Chipotle, such as nothing else is cooked in their fryer other than the corn chips, you could ask for corn tortillas on the side and they would try to put anything in a corn tortilla if you wanted. The staff's caring and dedication at this location is well beyond what I am accustomed to. They take all of reasonable precautions and are happy to do so.Grabbing quick food while running errands has proven difficult for me while avoiding gluten, but the Chipotle in Brick has just made it much easier.

Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!
