They do wipe down the counters and change their gloves after washing their hands. They take out the condiments straight from the bag below the buffet style service.

Knowledgeable about celiac disease. Changed gloves, used fresh lettuce, cheese.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Only place where I can get something gluten free and not feel like I’m being robbed with an up charge...also haven’t shit myself yet either so can’t complain

Awesome staff. When I asked for a glove change, he asked if I had an allergy to gluten. When I said yes, he not only changed his gloves but also washed his hands. Was extra careful and handled my bowl the whole time.

Almost everything is gluten free. Just tell them of your allergy and ask them to change gloves since they may have handled flour tortillas.

Awesome service. They will use all new gloves and product from under the counter! I never have any problems!! And the sofritas are gluten free too for any vegetarians out there!

Best GF fast food experience so far. They didn’t make me feel weird or like I took too much time. I told them I have a gluten allergy and the line stopped. They changed spoons for what I ordered, wiped down the counter, got out fresh cheese and lettuce, changed gloves, and one person took charge of my order seeing it through to the end of the line. I know there’s still a risk, but I’m thankful for all they did to help me eat with my family.

I was a little concerned when I read it had been two years since the last review, but I went and as soon as I told the server I had celiac, she immediately offered to wipe down the surfaces and change gloves. She did it so cheerfully also!

Lots of gluten free options, good choice for catering, and ability to sort through gluten free options by using their dietary filter online. There are good options available if you're dairy free/vegan as well!

While there’s obviously a chance of cross contamination, the workers here are very nice and accommodating. Everything except for the tortillas is gluten free. I always ask them to change their gloves and this past time a worker felt her glove touch the tortillas after changing them so she immediately changed them again! They never have a problem getting lettuce or cheese from the back which I appreciate! I have not had a reaction here yet and I am very sensitive!

I told the server I was gluten sensitive, and she immediately changed gloves and handled all my food herself.
