Went to Chive Blossom for dinner for the first time and it was excellent. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about what on the menu had gluten, what may be cross contaminated, and asked if I had an allergy. They were extremely diligent about making sure my food was safe. There was no gf menu, markings of gluten free, but our service was excellent in helping me.

I went here due to reviews from this site that made it sound like there might be GF options. I went for lunch and there was no information on the menu. I asked the server about gluten free options or a menu and he offered no help or options. He seemed so bothered by my ask that I just ordered nachos assuming they would be on corn chips. They were on flour chips and he did not tell me this, even though I had asked about gluten free options. When I inquired about the nachos after they arrived he said yes they were on wheat chips and shrugged. No apology, no manager, no offer to make it right. He was the worst server I have experienced in a long time. Would go so far as to say he was just a jerk. When you are paying this much, service is generally a part of what you are paying for. Not here. In fact, the person I was with was so amazed at this treatment that they went in to find a manager to speak with. The manager just asked what we wanted them to do. In my experience at a restaurant such as this , they will do what they can to provide decent service and help to provide options or make things right, trying to create a nice dining experience. Not here.

I was most excited about this restaurant in PI and it was

by far the most disappointing experience in food and service of my visit. Do not expect many GF options. At least not for lunch. Many more restaurant options that can offer more options and kind informed staff. The ambience was nice but not nice enough to make up for the rest of the awful experience. I won’t even give it a second try.

Very nice restaurant with an upscale yet laid back atmosphere. They have an amazing wine list and their list of other alcoholic beverages is staggering as well. Plus everything on the menu is marked whether or not it is gluten free, as well as vegetarian. The food is delicious and worth every penny - but do expect to pay for it. This is not a cheap restaurant.

I have only eaten here once but the staff was INCREDIBLY knowledgable, and everything is made from scratch, in house, and made to order. They can modify anything and they understand about changing gloves and using fresh pots/pans. ADORABLE little place! Great wine list too!!!
