I got the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, which is supposed to be Gluten Free, but this is the sickest I’ve felt since being diagnosed yearly one year ago. Either not really GF or major contamination.

They will change the scoop for you and they have a list behind the counter of all the flavors without gluten. There are a few flavors on the list ex. blue moon that I personally can not eat. There are others like exhausted parent and the lemon poppy which have been safe so far. I wouldn't bother ordering a gluten-free ice cream cake. It is just ice cream and whip cream.
In response to the person below who said they will not open a new bucket of ice cream for you, that's a very wasteful request and an absolutely ridiculous expectation!
Love that my girls and I can have "ice cream". Not super excited about soy but it tastes the same and they have GF cones!!!
They use the same scoop for different flavors so there’s a high CC risk. They won’t scoop from a new container either.

They have 8 dairy free ice cream options and gluten free cones. I asked about the scoops and cross contamination and she said they use the same scoops but rinse them in between. She rinsed the scoop and extra time for me but wasn't very friendly. I gave 4 stars because I expect businesses with allergy friendly options to be friendly, accommodating, and patient.
Staff checked the allergy binder for me and were very nice! Really good ice cream with a good selection of interesting flavors.

Love this place. We go here after dinner all the time. They keep my favorite GF carrot mango sherbet in back during the winter but have pulled it out for me any time I ask. They also have soy ice cream but I wasn’t a fan of that. Workers change their gloves and get new scoops as well. Plus GF sugar cones. Love love love them!

This is a wonderful mom 'n pop ice cream shop. I have gluten sensitivity and am allergic to dairy. The shop owners always have at least one sorbet (often two) on hand. They are knowledgeable about food allergies.
They have both sugar and cake cones that are gluten free. They also soy based ice creams, not just sorbets if you want to be dairy free. My boyfriend has a nut allergy and I can't have gluten and we both had an excellent experience here. The second we walked in the man behind the counter started handing us samples. Of course I stopped him and said we have food allergies. This started up a great conversation which made me much more comfortable. I am always nervous about trying new places. I think we were speaking with the owner, or at least a manager. He said that he makes sure the employees that work there are all very knowledgeable about food allergies and cross contamination. He kept handing us different samples of things he wanted us to try that were safe for us which was fun. The ice cream was great! I had the gluten free cake cone. It was just something packaged in a box from an outside source but it was surprisingly good. Entertaining environment. If you have multiple food allergies and want to go with some advanced knowledge, you can go to their website and click on what you can't eat. It shows you a list of the flavors you can have. Check it out!
