I wish I could give zero stars- their menu has things clearly labeled as GF (or gf upon request). I made it VERY clear to our server that I was celiac and I needed my steak and eggs very gluten free… specifically saying I don’t even need potatoes. She came back and said, “we are out of gluten free eggs, are you ok with egg whites?” Should have been my first red flag… but whatever. My plate came, fully loaded with a biscuit on top. I immediately (and politely) explained, that I couldn’t eat it, even if the steak touches the biscuit… and obviously the potatoes are not gluten free. In about 30 seconds, they returned with the same potatoes and steak. The waitress said, “our chef said that we can’t even have potatoes with gluten here”. Well their chef is a moron, because I was sick as a dog after 3 bites of steak and the potatoes 100% have gluten. (Nima tested)

Warning to all celiacs: they do not have dedicated fryers. Anything with their potatoes/hash is NOT SAFE, even though these items are listed as GF, they are not. I had a spinach and mushroom omelette. It came with a pepper sauce which I confirmed had no gluten ingredients. It tasted OK. Service here was not great and I won’t be back.

I previously wrote a great review but I’m currently editing it since the past few times service hasn’t been the greatest from management or servers and my daughter has gotten glutened because of it even after having suspicions, and sending food back to be remade. I would only go back if Stacy was working that specific shift. She is knowledgeable of the gluten free diet and has gone above and beyond for my daughter she was our server for the first few visits but has since been promoted to manager.

Not sure if the previous reviewer (Marie) ate at a different location or was lied to by staff, but Chops and Eggs at this address does NOT have gluten free biscuits nor any GF substitutes for waffles, flapjacks, or crepes. All omelettes are GF and the Benedict and hash sections of the menu specifically say “gluten free without biscuit.” When I specifically asked the waitress about the other menu items or a GF biscuit option, she was apologetic in telling me that it wasn’t possible. I ordered a hash and asked for the biscuit on the side so my non-gluten-free boyfriend could at least have it, but never received it separately. The hash itself was good, but overall was disappointed to be led astray with the false review with claims of more GF options than actually available.

Gluten free biscuits and fried chicken. The food was great. I got the Jordan Fried Chicken. Tons if GF options. Worth the trip.
