Chubby's Tacos

Very disappointed. Spoke with the manager/owner about gf items and the only thing she could think of was the steak and beans. Their chips are fried with gluten items, the grill has cross contact and she wouldn’t open a fresh bag of cheese or lettuce. Even the peppers and onions had cross contact. Glad I talked with her before I sat down. One star is one too many.

They do not have a gluten free menu. The manager who took our order was helpful and concerned. We were able to piece together a burrito bowl that was created in a separate part of the kitchen. Manager went to the back to make sure the cooks understood. Not a ton of GF options. No dedicated GF fryer. I always love helpful staff who are willing to go the extra mile, which they did.
