Review of Chuy's

We called ahead (to the Winter Park location, but I can't figure out how to delete the review on this location, although their menus are the same I believe so I would still avoid) because we were meeting friends. The manager my husband spoke with made it seem like he wouldn't have much to pick from but that they could accommodate gluten free as well as a seafood allergy. We arrive and he spoke with a different manager and she said that we shouldn't even be there and there was absolutely no way they could accommodate either. She said they don't (and wouldn't) change gloves between fish and chicken, seafood is prepared in the same place as salads and there is gluten in vertically all of their products and the few things that don't contain it are still completely unsafe because of how they run their kitchen. We ended up leaving before being seated and eating elsewhere. Absolutely not celiac friendly and honestly I don't think it would be a good option for anyone avoiding gluten or with any type of food allergies.
