UPDATE: So sad. I’ve been eating here on the regular for a year and ask every time if the pizza is cooked in a separate area and was always told yes. Last night our server said he’s sorry that I was misinformed in the past, they do cook the gf pizza in the same spot as the rest.
ORIGINAL: Best gf pizza I have EVER HAD. The crust was so damn good. The owner is a friend of a friend and assured me that they cook the pizza on a separate surface from the regular stuff. They also have Daura Damm (I know some folks won’t do it, but I’ve never had an issue). I can’t tell you how good it felt to go out for pizza and beer.

The food is amazing, unfortunately it's a risky place to eat if you have celiac disease, specifically -- the gluten free pizzas are cooked in the same oven as the regular pizza, so not celiac appropriate, or truly gluten-free. Unfortunately, the servers there (as of September 2023 -- can't speak for earlier years) aren't very well educated surrounding celiac disease (anymore), and they believe "their oven is hot enough to eliminate the glutenous remains of the pizza, so it's okay that gluten-free and non-gluten-free pizza can be cooked in the same oven." Which is what I was told before my server went into a "risk assessment advisory from the chef". I solely ate the pizza here on the recommendation of other reviewers from this app and Yelp stating celiacs have eaten here safely, and now I'm sick LOL. Don't eat the pizza here unless you want to regret it later! Not sure if it was safer before, but here is a first hand account that it currently is *not*.
I'm not sure how safe the pasta is, so 3 stars as I haven't had it before, and I'm still unsure if the crepes are safe or not.
I'm disappointed that the server had no idea whether the gluten free crepes are made on the same surface as the other crepes and/or if the surface is sanitized between preparations. He didn't feel very enthusiastic to find out for me either. Instead, I was told -- "it's not likely that the surface is sanitized between crepes, because they're back there making them all night." And just shrugged at me.
So, I gave up. I'll call and ask another time about the crepes and talk to someone who is more willing to communicate with me rather than make me feel like my presence is somehow a hindrance.
I'll never eat pizza here again though. Not worth the cancer 🤷🏻♀
Go to Doughbird if you want 100% certainty that wood fired gluten-free pizza won't make you sick. They have a separate oven. If you don't have celiac disease, go to Pizzeria Bianco. It's much better. Stay safe out there!

Cibo has incredible gluten free options. The dough is unbelievably good. It is all hand-made by the chefs; the head chef is from Italy.
Everything can be gluten free on the menu expect the calzone/crostone.
Seriously worth the wait!

This was my favorite place for gf pizza until I got the celiac diagnosis. They do have gf pizza and bread but it's cooked in the same oven on the same surface as the regular pizzas so not celiac friendly. The antipasto is great and if you omit the roasted peppers and bread you are fully gf. The gf crepes are cooked on a separate surface so indulge in dessert.

We ordered the the house salad and a few different types of gluten free pizzas. Unfortunately, I did not like the gluten free pizza, I was really disappointed because so many friends recommended this place. The pizza tasted pretty good when it came out super hot but once I got into my second piece, the texture became gooey and gross. I think maybe once the pizza settled the dough just got funky. The staff was really nice and I did not have any allergic reaction.
This restaurant is not safe for celiacs. They prepare all the pizzas in the same space as gluten and they use flour in their ovens. They can do a gluten-free pizza but if you are concerned about cross contact this would not be a good place to go.

The gluten free pizza is hands down the best. They make the gf crust in house and it is so chewy, and delicious. Very authentic!

Staff is knowledgeable and it is seriously the best GF pizza I’ve ever had. Plus GF crepes for dessert. Killer patio and great GF food.
Yes
Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Gf pizzas are cooked in same oven and on the same stone as other non Gf pizzas.
Yes
Amazing gluten free pizza! The crust was flaky and soft. Only complaint is I had it with no meat, it needed meat. The GF crape is a must and worth the trip alone. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was super knowledgeable about celiac
Yes
Why anyone would suggest a pizza here is mind boggling to me. They cook the gluten free pizzas directly on the stone that the regular pizzas are cooked on. Completely unsafe for some one with celiac.
No
All staff trained. Food labeled and extra care taken. Manager said they assume anyone who asks for GF is celiac.
Also......OMG. Actually tastes like normal pizza crust. I can’t wait to try their house made bread next time.
I feel so safe and the food was 10/10.

After having several experiences eating gluten free pizza that tasted like cardboard, my husband and I lost hope of ever enjoying a delicious pizza...that is until we discovered Cibo’s. They have the best pizza around! Plus we have never had a bad reaction!!

Perfection! Best fire baked neapolitan gf pizza in Phoenix, thank you CIBO :)
The crust was AMAZING! Pre-celiac amazing. Find yourself there...and often.

Best gluten free crust - very easy for those also potentially on Low FODMAP diets.
The pizza tasted so good! However, the bread brought to the table initially was not gluten free (we had asked for gluten free bread-FYI the gluten free bread is the pizza dough). Also, we ordered a gluten free pizza togo and the box said gluten free, but the pizza inside was not. You need to double check that everything you order gluten free is actually the gluten free version. I am so glad I didn't eat anything before I checked- I have celiac disease and would've been sick.

What a wonderful find on 5th Avenue in downtown Phoenix!!! A friend recommended CIBO, but said she had not tried anything gluten free there. After reading the reviews on this app, I figured we had to try this pizza many heralded as the "best gluten free pizza"! Well...we were NOT disappointed. The staff was knowledgeable about the glutenfree offerings and even advised based on pizza toppings. The pizza is cooked in a separate oven and is truly some of the most delicious GF pizza we have enjoyed outside of Italy. We will return during our next trip to Phoenix and recommend this to any gluten free visitor!

Best GF pizza I've ever eaten. Cooked in a separate oven and comes out with a cute little GF sign on it. Delicious! Plus, they have Gluten Free Crepes!!
Had and early dinner here before a game at Chase field. We ordered a gluten free pizza and it was absolutely delicious. Probably the best Gf crust we have had. We also shared an app and salad. The waitress was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and said her mom has celiac and always eats there safely. Not tons of kid friendly options other than cheese pizza. But a great place.

Loved this place. The restaurant is set in a cute house in a neighborhood. They have an outdoor patio that looked lovely. We will have to return when it is not raining to enjoy that. Complimentary valet parking was a big plus because if the weather. Enjoyed a gluten free mushroom pizza with truffle oil and a glass of Chardonnay. The pizza was huge, but we each ate our own because we were starving. Could be shared. Lots of options for celiacs. Loved every second we were at this place.
Delicious! Finally somewhere to get pizza where the gf is equal in size, flavor and quality as the traditional crust. Plus, they have gf crepes for dessert.
excellent pizza and gf crepes!
Yes
Finally a sandwich where they didn't sacrifice the taste or selection due to awful bread. GF crepes are amazing
Yes
My salad was so good and fresh. I didn't get a pizza because I have celiac decease and when I asked how the pizza was prepared, I was told the dough was rolled out in a clean flour free area but cooked on the same area as the regular pizzas. So I didn't risk getting a pizza and being sick, I'm that sensitive that if my food touches something with Gutenberg or four firs into my I pizza I will be sick for two days! I'm glad I didn't get pizza because my husband who doesn't have to be gluten free, said his pizza was flavourless! In my opinion this is not a celiac friendly pizza place!

Fabulous gluten-free sandwich and gluten-free crepe. Gluten-free bread-based items came out clearly labeled with a toothpick and a sticker saying gluten-free in them. Would recommend.
Yes
Cibo is one of the best gf finds... Their gf crusts are to die for!! My boyfriend, who is not gf, shares a pizza with me every time and does not miss the regular stuff. I typically eat the veggie- which comes with big chunks of roasted red pepper, zucchini and artichoke hearts (YUMMY)! The ambiance is perfect.. An eclectic house, intimate, with great lighting!

Awesome pizza
gluten free crust was amazing. found out that they can make their crepes gluten free which will be a next time must.

Fabulous wood fired pizza with an actual crust. Best gfree pizza I've had!
Absolutely amazing!! Best pizza I've had since my diagnosis three years ago.
You cannot tell the pizza crust is gf. Delicious! Regular style crust, light and fluffy, not the thin cardboard style other restaurants offer. Wonderful service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. Definitely will be going back again!
I got pizza everything was organic in locally grown or imported is wonderful
