I had dinner here with my family during vacation. I took a giant risk in coming here because I have celiac disease and the restaurant had no presence on this app, there was no indication that they had “dedicated GF options” on the menu, and no web search for them turned up anything about any diners with a GF experience. However, I have had positive dining experiences with authentic Mexican food previously.

When I arrived, I told the waitress that I had celiac disease and absolutely could not have any cross-contamination with flour tortillas or other wheat items. She told me that most of their items were corn based. I reiterated that the cook would need to change their gloves, and she seemed confused, but I still decided to take a risk.

I shared the chips and guacamole with my family (I only had a few), had the vegetarian tostadas, and had a few bites of my husband’s shrimp fajitas on corn tortillas. It has been 12 hours and I haven’t had any signs of being glutened in the slightest, which is amazing.

On the downside; the food and service weren’t amazing. The tostados were bland and our waitress was rude.
