Avoid - there are other options in town. Expensive (lunch for 4 … $53) and poor execution and quality. A grilled cheese - never seen one messed up until now. Slapping 2 pieces of slightly toasted bread around cold cheese slices is not worth $8, and most certainly doesn’t meet most people’s expectations (bread, cheese, pan, heat, melt …) Another sandwich specifically ordered no cheese or sauce came with both, and turkey tested off. At that point really concerned about quality control for gluten free order in group … not worth the risk. Ordered to go, so perhaps they didn’t care. Extremely disappointed given earlier reviews.

Pay attention. My gluten free sandwich was not on gluten free bread. Should have checked my order before getting in the highway. It was a disappointment. The kitchen had a lot of people, but was very disorganized. Will try again, because they are lovely… but this time was a bust.

This place is awesome! The owners attention to detail is what sets this place apart. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a wrap to go for lunch. They were both so good. You should not miss having a meal here if you are in the area!

Always come here when Trace through Harrisonburg bc they’re very familiar w gluten free. I’m able to get a proper safe GF breakfast sandwich and a GF treat for the road! One time in here I was told one of the owners has Celiac so they’re aware of cross-contamination.

They're food is delicious! Good servings and good prices as well as SAFE... Can make any menu item on either gluten free bread or tortilla... ate both breakfast and lunch here with no reaction

Ate here twice in August 2020 and I love it! They can make any sandwich on GF bread (Udi’s) or a wrap - the wraps are excellent. They usually have a GF lemon bar and some other homemade dessert. The owner (I think) is GF or his child is, and all staff are extremely attentive if you say GF. All sandwich components like the lunch meat are GF and you can definitely feel safe. Having an Italian “sub” / wrap is now the highlight of every trip to town. Close to JMU so mostly takeout orders, but they’ve about 8-10 tables if you want to eat in.

Friendly & knowledgable staff, forgot to ask them to change their gloves but I’m sure they would have if I had been more diligent. I was so thrilled they offered GF subs (wraps and breads) that I forgot! Food was very delicious though and my GF wrap came with potato chips vs. bagel chips.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the gluten-free options. It seems that the options change based on what they have available that day. When I went, they had gluten-free wraps and bread as a substitute to the breakfast sandwiches (which I’ve found is rare for breakfast items) and they also offered a gluten-free lemon bar, which I didn’t try.

Excellent find. Any sandwich can be made with gluten free bread or as a wrap. They have a dedicated cooking area for preparing gf orders. Baked goods are prepared first thing in the am before other baked goods. Owners father has celiac so he is very knowledgeable about strict gf diet. Owner makes cakes on request

The staff was kind and considerate as well as very knowledgeable on Celiac disease. They create an entire space dedicated to your food and change out everything. You can literally order anything on the menu made GF and they even have homemade desserts! I recommend the lemon bars!

Awesome place to stop! We were driving through town and saw the reviews so decided to stop for breakfast. Everyone was aware of celiac issues due to their own family members having celiac. They take cross contamination really serious and use separate knives, gloves, and surfaces to keep clean. Highly recommend

Very good food. Got breakfast and lunch. Both were great and I didnt get sick. Tried to order a gf cheesecake to pick up later but they never emailed me to set it up. A little disappointing.

Delicious! I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich but I didn't want the meat. They offered me spinach and tomato as a substitute. It was one of the best I've eaten. Coffee was great too!
