I have eaten here multiple times and have not gotten sick. I am a sensitive celiac, and did not get symptoms after eating here. It’s also yummy!

I told our waiter several times I couldn’t eat gluten, walked through the menu with him, and clearly ordered the gluten free pasta. I was mistakenly given the normal pasta instead and took several bites before our waiter noticed and alerted us that the chef had messed up. Unfortunately will be spending the entire Seattle weekend in pain after eating here.

They can make any of their pasta dishes gluten free. They also have other options. I had the Trota Salmonata which is Steelhead. The sauce that comes on it was very good! He asked if they needed to be conscious of cross contamination. Definitely would come back here!

UPDATE: My family lives close by so we’re regulars at this point. I wanted to add after chatting with one of our repeat servers that one of the cooks is Celiac, so they are not only first-hand knowledgeable here, but they take gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease SERIOUSLY.
Original Review: Cinque Terre is authentic Italian food and has been consistently delicious and safe.
The chef (the one I’ve most often encountered) can be kind of a stinker when it comes to alterations to his dishes, however, he is stringent when it comes to food allergies and Celiac; and I’ve been able to try several different dishes for lunch and dinner because of this.
Outside of their homemade pizzas and a couple other items, most plates can be made Celiac safe. They use Manini’s pasta in a designated GF pot and fresh water for their pasta dishes, and are overall clean and cautious.
Even their bartenders (mixed drinks available for dinner only) are knowledgeable about Celiac, and they offer liquor alternatives to some unsafe recipes for us super-sensitive Celiacs.

I had a business dinner here, and despite that the menu was pre fixe, they accommodated me wonderfully with gluten free pasta and a dish with sauce that was thickened with xantham gum. And wile my colleagues enjoyed tiramisu for dessert, I wasn’t left out, and was given a healthier option of lemon sorbet.

One of the most comfortable experiences I have had at a restaurant since being diagnosed with celiac. The chef has celiac and 100% understands allergy accommodations. I felt well cared for the whole evening. The octopus was delicious and they made it completely GF and dairy free. They restaurant had no cross contamination issues either. Thank you Cinque Terre & I will definitely be coming back soon!

They serve Manini’s GF pasta!! For anyone who doesn’t know, that’s local, fresh GF pasta made from ancient grains. The dish I had was to die for- lemon Alfredo with prawns. Staff was great.
