This was the perfect place to eat after seeing the Lion King at the Orpheum. We heard they had great gluten-free pasta, and it was!!! Our party of 6 all said it was the best gf pasta we've ever had. Great ambiance, too. Not too touristy even though it was at the Wharf. Lots of diners speaking Italian while we were there, so definitely a show of support for a great Italian restaurant! We will definitely go back.

Seemed like kind of a touristy place but it is a bit off of the main part of fisherman’s wharf and the food was delicious! Many gf options, gf pasta and they do not cook it in shared water, risotto is also GF. Lots of options with seafood which was great. Food was delicious and I did not get sick!

Amazing gluten free pasta! The staff weren't that knowledgeable and nothing on the menu is marked as GF other than a small note to say pasta can be subbed for GF. I played it safe and went for pasta rather than guessing on the rest of the menu and I made the right choice! Probably the best GF pasta I've ever had and it was a huge portion so I took half back to the hotel and had it cold the next day, still just as tasty when cold too.

When asked for gluten free because of allergy the waiter ensured everything can and will be prepared glutenfree. He placed us in his section so all communication for this would go well! He marked all dishes that are/could be made glutenfree!

I am mildly sensitive, so don't take this too seriously: I was in San Francisco for vacation, and we went here because they had gluten free pasta and the rest of my family wanted fish and chips (on a side note they said the fries were ok and the fish was good but the breading is just eh). I got penne pomodoro and it was very good. I didn't get sick. It wasn't life changing or anything, but it was pretty good. Prices were ok for the area but high if you come from a place (like Iowa) where everything is way less expensive. When I asked about gluten free options all they said was "we have gluten free pasta", so not sure about other options

Great amount of choice as all pasta dishes can be made GF apart from one. I went for the Fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken which was tasty but tad overpriced. The waiter had good knowledge what was and wasn’t GF.

I ate Fettucine Alfredo prepared with GF pasta (penne type) and I added shrimp. It was fantastic. For an appetizer, I ate Insalata Caprese. The Caprese was a bit dry. It needed more olive oil, but it was still delicious. My lunch companions don’t eat GF, and they loved their food (Seafood Risotto). Great service, lots of COVID-safe outside seating.

When we wanted to know about coeliac safe options the manager told us what was available on the menu and reassured us of the safety in the kitchen. Pasta came out quickly and was delicious. There were vegetarian and vegan options available. Very large portion sizes.

This place was overpriced and tasted terrible. Our waiter was unsure of what was gluten free and what wasn’t. He finally asked after my pestering him to check. I got the scampi and it was so bad. I don’t recommend.

I just had the most delicious, tender Rib Eye here. I explained to the sever who’s name was Jesus, that all I needed on the steak and vegetables was salt and pepper, no mash potatoes. My order came as I requested and I’m not sick. I would eat here again.

Good location but food was average at best. Knowledgable and helpful server.

They had gluten free pasta but no gluten free bread or other Italian grains. I ended up ordering the steak, which was half fat and completely tasteless. The veggies served were also hard and cold. So, don't bother with this place unless you enjoy paying a lot of $ for a less than average meal.

No gluten free menu but the waiters were knowledgeable about the gluten free options. Good chicken and salads. When our entrees came and I wanted a bite of my mothers meal we asked if it was GF. The waitress replied "let me check the lust in back and get back to you!" Great response and I felt safe!

My rating is a generous average: Five stars for having GF pasta and knowledgeable staff. One star removed for food that should taste more of its ingredients. One more big star deleted for bill shock -- GF pasta was a $3.50 charge, and the tally included a 4.5% up charge "to help fund healthcare, min. wage, and other San Francisco mandated employment costs." Oh, really? Put it on the menu! With that add on, Scoma's would have been the better deal.

Great food. Have some items on menu marked as GF. Willing to adjust and advise. Didn't have an issue the one time I ate there.
