All meats are only till sold out so don’t go late The bark on the ribs is 90% coarse ground black pepper. If you like a pepper bark then you’ll love this. Ribs had a fairly small amount of meat on them

Turkey was crazy moist and tender!

Coleslaw has no flavor. It’s just slaw mix, Mayo, and vinegar Beans are NOT safe, they have soy sauce, chatted with the owner

Had the ribs, turkey, and slaw. Did not get sick

I've been to City butcher several times since being diagnosed celiac. Staff is knowledgeable, area is properly cleaned and they change their gloves. The meat is delicious and gluten free and a bonus they offer Miss Vicky's chips which are also gluten-free. Perfect for lunch! I'm highly sensitive to cross-contamination and I have never gotten sick. Thank you City Butcher!

The staff was so helpful, changed gloves, cutting boards & knives and got a fresh pieces of meat for all the different meats we ordered. The potato salad and coleslaw are stored in a small self-serve fridge and the ingredient list is shown on the fridge door. It was a great experience and great food.

Delicious! Very knowledgeable. Arrived after 1pm and ribs were sold out. Burnt ends were delicious as well as the turkey. Sauces are ok, except mustard. Gloves changed and cutting boards changed. Very well done!!

Not only some of the best bbq we’ve eaten, but extremely respectful of Celiac! Like everyone else said, you just mention & they swing into action with cleaned hands, new gloves, new clean cutting board, cleaned scales, and knife. You don’t even have to ask! And you know they do it cause it’s right in front of you. As the sweet girl was taking our order, the guy was right next to her cutting our meat & fixing our kids sandwiches. Best set up we’ve ever seen. Also, the girl that took our order, said her mom has Celiac & she tells her to come eat there. Which says even more. Oh, and did I mention the food was just as good as the service. The ribs & burnt ends were worth driving 100 miles out of the way for. My daughter said the pulled pork was so moist & delish.

Very happy with this place. They went over what was safe and put on fresh gloves and pulled out a fresh cutting board and put the gluten free things on a different tray then the regular stuff. No gf buns but the meat and sauce are so yummy it didn't matter.

This place is the bomb! When you let them know you have celiac disease, they really take measures to make sure you have a safe dining experience. New cutting board, new knife, wash hands and new gloves, fresh meat from oven. And the food is deeelicious! The turkey is surprisingly tender, not dry, and tasty. Love the pulled pork and burnt ends too.

No special gluten free stuff, but the barbecue is great! Sides had labeled ingredients, and, when I told staff I have celiac, they got new boards, a new knife and changed gloves. Delicious!

Great BBQ place! I have been multiple times now, and every time the staff has been incredibly friendly and conscientious about gluten allergies. They will change gloves and get a dedicated cutting board out for preparing your plate. Sides and sauces are safe, but do be aware that the sausages do have beer mixed in so these should be avoided. This is my favorite BBQ place in town now, great food and friendly staff cannot be beat!

Everything was fantastic! The sauce and all the meats are safe, except for the TX hot links and Jalapeño cheddar sausage (they have beer in them), and the sides are legit. I talked to one of the guys at the front and said they model their food after Texas BBQ ;) Will definitely be back when we're in town!
