City Cakes & Cafe

City Cakes has moved locations. They are now in Midvale. We have eaten here for the last five years. My daughter who is Celiac has never gotten sick. I order my GF pies from here for Thanksgiving. They are yummy. We also like their GF chocolate chip cookie dough.

I think City Cakes is ok. It’s awesome that most everything is gluten free, dairy free, and vegan, but it definitely tastes that way. I usually only enjoy the frosting lol. I do like that they have more dessert options than most other places and they are usually sold in Harmons.

I'm sorry, I know most people love this place but I think it's so gross. I've eaten here multiple times and it's bland and I feel like you have to choke it down or have a beverage to help.

I cannot due gf and vegan. I feel like that's double torture. I would rather not have sweets than eat here.

We get rolls and goodies here weekly! I've never had any issues! The zucchini bread is heavenly!!

I was really excited to try this bakery since other celiacs on here spoke highly of it. Unfortunately I felt very sick afterwards. While the staff were very knowledgeable about cross contamination, they do bake with gluten in the same kitchen and I suspect that's what made me sick.

I live in Provo and will drive all the way to Draper just for their GF/DF cheesecakes. 100% of everything is dairy free and about half is gluten free. They do store their non-GF food in the same cases as their GF stuff though. But I love that they can make baked goods (mostly cupcakes) free of all 8 allergens and everything tastes amazing.
