Classic Burgers

Visited twice in the last few months. Although they offer gluten free buns, burgers, and claim gluten free fries, I wouldn’t call them a safe. Twice I’ve had my order come out wrong. The first visit ordered 2 gf burgers and these rest of the order was normal (specifically requested gf due to “allergy”). They said no problem. Received one gf burger and the other was clearly not on a gf bun. They inisisted it was and refused to fix it. After 5 years of eating gf, I know a gf bun when I see it especially when I have two completely different looking gf buns in front of me. Did not eat it. My son enjoyed his, but he has a hard time expressing if he gets symptoms from getting glutened. Also all food was touching on the tray so clearly cross contamination was not considered.

Second visit was yesterday. Our order was missing a side and my son’s burger was wrong this time. He’s gf and dairy free. I specifically asked for a kids gf burger no cheese and told them it had to be completely gluten and dairy free. We received a kids gf burger with cheese. This time they remade it when I showed my receipt. Again all burgers were touching in the tray. Despite me being very clear our two gf burgers needed to be separate.

Although tasty, and the burger experience I miss, I’m paying for it with symptoms today. This place could be so good if they were more conscious of cross contamination and proper allergy protocols. Although I specifically said gluten allergy both times it was never noted on my order.
