Shannon, the bartender, was great! She had a menu set aside that was labeled with gluten free options. She noted an allergy and I heard it called out in the prep area next to me. I did not watch, but I know she requested them to wash the knife as I had requested. It could be my mistake as I didn't request beyond washing the knife, but I'm not sure if they cleaned the prep area and changed gloves.
I ordered sushi. Specifically the VIP roll, Philadelphia roll, and an Alaskan roll. I felt very safe while I was there as Shannon seemed to take every precaution and had knowledge of what gluten is. She informed me not to have their spicy tuna as they put crunch in their spicy seafoods.
I did end up symptomatic that night, however I cannot guarantee it wasn't from the lunch I had at a conference earlier in the day, nor can I say it isnt from any of my other many health issues. I would give this another shot for sure!
