Food is good, staff super kind and accommodating- they are knowledgeable about food allergies seriously, but apparently whoever prints their menu isn’t... read on for more on that. It can be difficult to find tables. Manager was super nice and threw drinks on the house bc we had to wait so long. Beware: waiter warned us that not all items marked as GF on the menu are truly GF!?!! Apparently they need to update the menu, but at least chef sent server back to warn us that some of the items marked GF are marinated with soy sauce… so yay for warning us, but boo for marking it as GF on the menu!

Some decent GF options, but waitstaff did not seem very knowledgeable about how food was prepared or GF options in general besides directing us just back to what the menu had marked GF. No separate GF frier apparently, but island rice could be subbed for my son and he loved it (white rice with a light coconut milk flavor). Son ordered a burger with no bun, even though a gluten free one was available… but burger came with GF bun anyways…. At least it wasn’t a normal one?? Plus side is that they have a great oceanside atmosphere, but just be aware waitstaff may not be able to answer questions and didn’t seem eager to ask the kitchen (just guessed “I’m not sure, so I would say don’t order that…” ugh). Enjoy, but just ask careful questions.

Side note: They do ask prior to seating you if there are any allergies at the table and it is noted right away to the server, so it seems they care. Just perhaps a disconnect in training the waitstaff.

Disappointed. Went here after seeing the reviews about being able to get fries. Ordered the shrimp salad on gf roll and specifically told waiter no cucumbers because of being allergic. My sandwich came with cucumbers also when it came out it had a fruit cup instead of fries. He said they no longer have gf fries and subbed fruit without asking me what else I would like. I could not have the fruit because of a cantaloupe allergy so I sent back and subbed slaw. Slaw was ok. Shrimp salad was very watery and no flavor. Had to ask for Old Bay three times before it was actually brought out. My husband loved his meal but he is not gf.

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Have eaten here a couple times while on vacation and never had any issues.

Went here recently and loved the food. I ordered chips and salsa, a cheeseburger with a gluten free bun with fries and fruit, and a flourless chocolate torte. They have a dedicated fryer for the tortilla chips and fries which I appreciated. I also asked them to cook the burger separately from food with gluten. I thought the food was pretty good and I love the beautiful views of the ocean. Definitely coming back!

Food was alright. We ordered the filet thinking it would be amazing with a cost of $44.00, it was underwhelming. No real seasoning on any of the food. Waitress didn’t seem to care that I had celiac and wasn’t too concerned that I wanted to make sure that the demi-glace was gf, said it was but didn’t double check which would’ve made me feel more confident. Ended up getting sick that night, not sure if there is a correlation or not….. Wouldn’t recommend for a nice dinner celebrating anything, maybe a quick meaningless meal.

Was great! I got a GF burger, they were very accommodating. We sat outside and the view was beautiful. A little pricey but the food is awesome.

Gluten free items marked on the menu. Waiter was very aware of gluten free. Unfortunately one meal came out with a sauce that had gluten. It was remade. The manager came out and was very apologetic. She paid for the entire table and we didn't have to pay for anything. They went above and beyond to make it right. And the food was delicious!

Took over 10 minutes for someone to come to our table (not busy-all sergers were just chit chatting amongst themselves). We asked for dinner menu which only had 3 things labeled gf. I asked if chef Byrd was available bc we were gluten free. He said no and walked away. Wasn’t going to pay those high prices for terrible services and nothing gluten free mentioned in previous reviews! We left without ordering. Very disappointing

Best atmosphere in HHI! Service and food were excellent. My favorite restaurant during our vacation!

Chef Richard Byrd came to the table and addressed not only my celiac, but my Dad’s onion allergy as well. He not only caters to celiac, but will work to accommodate a meal free of any common allergens if needed. You can tell he truly wants dining out to be a gift of life for anyone. The hostess asked me if we had allergies before we were even seated. He trains other staff members in allergy free food prep- he understands cross contamination, and has a dedicated GF fryer. He was an absolute gentleman and joy to work with- and the best part? I enjoyed not just a raw platter...but fried oysters, mahi mahi bites, and fries. Hot, fried, delicious, GF food! They were phenomenal all the way around. Delicious food that will keep me feeling good the rest of my trip. I am so grateful, if only everywhere could make dining out such a treat for a celiac.

I felt like we were in Disney!! Chef came out to discuss allergies and told us our options. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Oh and it has an awesome view and flourless chocolate cake!!

Beautiful setting, great food. Server very knowledgeable. Chef came out to speak with me and go over choices. I shared the raw seafood platter and then had fish tacos in lettuce wraps with Parmesan fries. It was delicious!
