Coastal Crust at Wild Dunes

Had high hopes for this one. Ordered the fig and prosciutto gf. It arrived and I ate almost a whole slice before looking at my friends pizza and realizing they looked similar. Waited forever for server to come back and asked and sure enough it was not gf. No apology or anything. They basically did not care that they just glutened me. Do not trust this place.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Good

My daughter has celiac so I too was skeptical about the gf pizza being baked in the same oven. However, she’s never had a reaction and she’s very sensitive to cross contamination.

The kitchen changes gloves, uses a clean pizza peel, every kitchen precaution we require, etc. The brick oven is at 700 degrees, so maybe it somehow kills residual gluten?

She’s eaten there 3 times and even on her birthday with no reaction.

They told me they have gluten free crust but they cook it in the same pizza oven as their flour containing pizzas, a no-go for celiacs

Tacos and tequila is a food truck located at the resort. Great tacos. Beef, carnitas, shrimp and veggie. They also offer sides of Spanish rice, guacamole, coleslaw and more.
