Review

I was excited to try this place based on these reviews, but it did not live up to my expectations. When I asked the server about the fried items marked gluten free, he told me they are NOT cooked in a dedicated fryer. He said they are cooked in a shared fryer with gluten items and I quote “but other people have eaten them and not had any problems so it should be okay.” Excuse me? I asked him twice to make sure I didn’t mishear him. I told him the cross-contamination would not be okay for me.

I ended up ordering the shrimp fresh rolls and the beef pho. The rolls came with a dipping sauce that had fried onions on top. When I asked the woman who dropped it off she said “yeah, that sauce should be gluten free.” Should be? Nah, I didn’t eat it. Just ate the fresh rolls plain and ate my beef pho. I didn’t have a reaction, but honestly I won’t be back. Too much carelessness for me.
