Incredible, our server was JJ. We had a celiac and a soy allergy and they were very accommodating. He didn’t make us feel rude for asking what food we can eat and made sure we were comfortable and enjoyed the meal. Everything was delicious, but for dessert we opted for the pavlova and didn’t like it which is no problem but JJ took it off the bill without us asking. Everyone there was amazing, we will definitely be back!

They take GF very seriously and can make stuff on the menu that’s not marked GF safe for celiacs. They even use tamari instead of soy sauce! One of the best know restaurants on the island for good reason.

My wife is a sensitive celiac. She had the blackened mahi and the spring rolls for appetizer. Our waiter Daryl was aware of the allergy and assured us it was safe. She absolutely loved it. No issues and we annoyingly asked and requested we need gluten free. She wanted safe over anything and just asked what will you guarantee is safe and that is what he recommended. There is always a risk but we would eat there again. Updated 7-26 - we ate twice again this week. This time when we ordered Spring Rolls they said they were not GF. We were concerned as we ordered before and they said they were. The couple with us (not celiac) ordered and they looked completely different than when we had. This time they were fried and not with the rice wrap. Just clarify as maybe sometimes they have a chef who can modify. Did have the tuna tartar app and it was great. Chip was baked not fried. Wonderful experience-server was very knowledgeable about gluten free items and mentioned they could modify almost any dish. Beautiful outdoor setting and friendly staff-would definitely recommend!

The staff seemed very knowledgeable. Gf was not listed on the menu, but a large portion could be modified to be gluten free. I ordered the beef tenderloin with roasted Brussels sprouts for my main course and flourless chocolate cake for dessert and did not get sick. I enjoyed my meal, but the other nongf members of my group thought their meals were very salty. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Cocovan had a few gluten free options and the manager came over and helped me the first night. We ended up eating there twice during the trip and it was everyone’s favorite spot.
Limited gf options on the regular menu, no bread, but waiter and chef were celiac knowledgable and able to adapt dishes.

This is a great restaurant, however the gluten free options are not labeled and the waitstaff is not very knowledgable.
I enjoyed the mahi mahi special and had creme brulee for desert and didnt get sick.
Outstanding service, beautiful outdoor eating under palm trees and fantastic food. They understand gluten free and everything is fresh so many dishes are inherently GF. you must notify your server that you need gluten free choices and they will guide you.
