I was told they can't guarantee the food would be gluten free. The waitress asked the kitchen staff. I ate black beans and rice, which was a side dish. I hoped it would be safe enough.

I had the Cody’s salad and roasted chicken with baked potato. So far so good. Not having any issues.

The server was excellent and made sure my ribs and sweet potato were prepared safely. It was very good. Feel free to ask for the manager if you have questions.
I was apprehensive about dining at Cody's, we'd eaten there for years pre celiac diagnosis & all I could think of was their amazing rolls & how could they be a safe place for me to eat?! I googled their menu, was sad to hear that there was no longer an advertised a GF menu but individual locations may still participate, so they recommend calling to speak with a manager. I called a few hours ahead, spoke with Scott who assured me they could absolutely accommodate my needs & were well aware of what that meant. I was pleasantly surprised, maybe even shocked, at how nice they were & how far they went to ensure my safety! Scott explained that all of their steaks & non fried chicken items can easily be safe, just refrain from using their signature grill sauces. He said there are seafood options too but I wasn't untested in hearing them lol. My server was Lise, she was amazing too. Really seemed to understand my anxiety & made me feel at ease. They even went so far as to cut me a fresh NY Strip steak just to ensure no possible cross contamination could have occurred! She made me my own bowl of salad, prepped separately & fresh just for me AND carried my food out before any of the gluten filled plates of the others in my party! I had such anxiety when I walked in but left feeling great! Truly the first time dining out since my diagnosis that I wasn't treated poorly due to the extra work they had to do & was actually made to feel welcomed & safe! They even reiterated when I left to come back any time & they will be happy to accommodate my needs again! I definitely recommend this specific Cody's to anyone else still anxious about eating out!
Yes
I get along well on their Fajitas on two-for-one to on Wednesdays. But they don't have a GF menu, house salad can be ordered w/o croutons, but your waiter might forget. Not sure they have dedicated GF pans, etc.
