Review of Coffee House Waffle Shop

This little breakfast spot is a great place to stop and grab a gluten free breakfast. They do not have a gluten free menu, but they can tell you what does and doesn't have gluten (if you don't already know), and will clean the grill and cook your food completely separate.To my surprise, they have quite a few GF customers who come in often, so this is something they are used to dealing with. I had the western omelet and a side of hashbrowns. Was really good (could've done without the cheese, just my preference). Love that I can have hashbrowns instead of grits or biscuits. They're grilled, not fried. The staff is very friendly and have no problem accommodating to allergy needs. I have Celiac and did not get sick. Just make sure you mention that you have a gluten allergy and will need your food cooked separately and grill cleaned. I'd stick to basic things like eggs, hashbrowns, meats, and veggies.
