We did call ahead for their GF menu. They have allergy icons on a separate menu for your convenience & Kate emailed the entire selection!
I am also allergic to preservatives so the chef was very accommodating.
The restaurant itself is beautiful and it’s always a pleasure to stroll through Celebration. Having a nice meal is a bonus when you’re challenged!

Eat here whenever we are in town. Have never had any issues. They have a separate allergen menu.

We went tonight and although we were given an allergen menu upon request my daughter got sick and is right now sitting at the toilet throwing up. She usually gets sick about 3 hours after eating gluten. She ordered the shrimp appetizer and asked for a side of rice (they brought out white rice). I reminded them to write allergy next to her order. When the food came out it wasn’t marked differently and they didn’t make a big deal of it being gluten free. I’m the one that asked if it was gluten free and the server checked the paper that was on the tray with the rest of the orders.

The food here is amazing, and they had an allergen menu. We said no bread at the table right away, but they still brought it. I had the bean soup and it was delicious. The server kept trying to convince me that the 1905 salad was GF but it is NOT marked as GF on the menu and I was not going to risk it— especially after the review where another celiac possibly had a cross contamination reaction to it. The server would not give up throughout the entire meal trying to convince me- and that was irritating. The sangria is great too! I would go again. But still not going to risk the salad!

This place was fantastic. service was pretty good but the food. WOW! They highlight the menu to indicate what they can make GF. Really happy with everything and 6 out of my party of 9 were gf and loved the food. They made it easy and no one was sick! Would go back next time we are in town!

I have celiac and soy allergy. While I didnt have many options I had the 1905 salad and did just olive oil as they use Worcester sauce in their dressing. I had to run to the bathroom several times before we left lunch so I think my salad was contaminated with wheat or the ham n cheese wasnt gf.
Great meal! Easy to understand menu. Informed staff. Great place to celebrate!! Nelson was our server and he was wonderful. Been to every location and live Celebration.

I’ve had luck with the 1905 salad made at the table. I let them know Celiac up front and decline the bread and have always been good.
I’ve had dinner here about three times and never got sick. I was told to order food from the gf menu that was cooked in a separate casserole. The food is excellent and I’ve never gotten sick.

A truly disappointing experience. Went here a week ago for lunch and got sick. Had the infamous 1905 salad with no cheese. It was so overdressed and was like soup on the plate. Lettuce didn’t taste fresh. I asked the manager if we could make a substitution and get roasted vegetables with my main meal. I’m not a chef but it looked like a child cut the vegetables. The majority of the veggies were raw, plate was not appetizing and meat had no flavor. The service was slow, waiter not very knowledgeable and food not good.
They do have a GF menu with many options however the food is DISGUSTING. Tried white sangria it was ok but bitter, 2/5 stars. Shared a white asparagus salad but the asparagus had been sitting in oil so long it was itself becoming a liquid like a rotting vegetable. Lastly we had fish paella. The various types of fish was chewy, the vegetables were clearly canned and not fresh Nothing we had indicated this restaurant uses fresh vegetables Everything seemed like something premade or frozen. Very disappointing.
Great selection on the gluten free menu.

Gf menu with extensive choices
Menu Changed 2 weeks ago. Last time I got glutened. Last visit was on 02/13/16.
We love the Columbia restaurants & they were so good with a Gluten-free menu.

We visit the Columbia restaurant in Ybor City on a regular basis and always have a fantastic experience. There are a variety of gluten free options and they are served on a special blue plate. They change gloves and ensure the food is safe. They have bags of plantain chips available (in lieu of Cuban bread) as a starter. John, the amazing manager, always recognizes our family and ensures everything goes well with our meal and checks on us quite a few times during our visit. I am so thankful to have a delicious place to eat where we feel safe. The restaurant has been there since 1905 and is a staple in Tampa and also has other locations.

Good meal but I found a crouton in my salad. I asked for no croutons and told the waiter I was allergic. Disappointed

The Cuban black bean soup, fresh fish, and yellow rice were all sooo good. I had a great experience but I was slightly nervous with it being such a busy place; nonetheless, I did not get sick and it was delicious!

Server misrepresented the bread as gluten free - when questioned, she assured it was gluten free when questioned multiple times.. Turns out she was misinformed - i trusted and ended up poisoned. The manager was apologetic. Strongly recommend against this restaurant - hard to trust the food will be what is promised.
