Very safe - only upsetting thing is they do not have the pastel de nata or “nata” every day. Told me to come back at 1300 and I didn’t have time. Sounds like nata is not always and limited … probably popular. There are other items (bakery all gf) but if that’s what you came there for it’s slightly depressing… I had a chocolate cookie pastry thing which was impressive but I was already hoping for nata so :(
Update I finally got to try the nata! They had it today. Yay! It’s good!

Great in terms of gluten free and very celiac friendly! Pretty good food and good price. Couldn’t get our hands on any pastel de nata which was a shame, but other great treats!

Service was great. Everything is gluten free. A good amount of options. I got the francesinha sandwich. It was much bigger than I was expecting and it was really good. They are a cash only facility. I would recommend.

Unfortunately this cafe was closed for holidays when I tried to go so if you’re currently in Porto don’t waste your time coming here as it is shut until the 19th of September as indicated in the sign in their window
I really appreciate every single place that’s dedicated gluten free. But in this case I was disappointed. Yes of course it’s a safe place to eat but that’s all of it. The staff is not very friendly, no service. The food is expensive and taste below average. I understand every celiac stopping by to have a safe meal but if you have a choice or want to have a great experience you better skip this place. There are two other gluten free bakeries in Porto and surroundings.

The Nutella crepe was outstanding! Entire gluten free facility so no risk of cross contamination. We went back multiple times! Tucked away, but once you find it once it’s easy to get to.

Amazing! Was finally able to try a francesinha which I haven't been able to try yet and my non gluten free gang said it was better than the gluten ones they had earlier in the week! We also had pastel de natas which I also haven't been able to find and they were great! Unfortunately not as flakey as the real deal but hey we can't complain it won't make us sick lol! (Our motto is it doesnt need to be perfect it just needs to be something) I was just happy to have it again after years. Very friendly and helpful staff . Would 100% go again. Also really liked the brownies and the palmiers <3

Went for some Natas, unfortunately it was very busy and had stopped serving, went back later and got some natas to takeaway. They were delicious.

Small location in a back alley, next to a (daily?) market. Dedicated GF and very much variety on the menu, even got GF beer. Only "negative" is cash only.

Lovely little bakery. It’s cash only and tucked into a little alley, not on the street below with Rocky’s. Staff is very helpful and friendly and the pastries tasted great!

The food was delicious. It has lots of options for all meals (breakfast: waffles(very delicious), pancakes, crepes etc. Lunch&Dinner: wraps, sandwiches etc.). The owner and staff are very nice and helpful. (IT IS CASH ONLY) It also has pastries e.g. pasteis de nata. I highly recommend!

Kleines, etwas verstecktes Café mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Es gibt eine Vielzahl von Croissants, Waffeln, Wraps, Burgern… und süßem Gebäck. Getränke in großer Auswahl - Kaffee, Schokolade, Wein, Bier, Tonic, Säfte, Wasser. Mein Croissant mit Käse und Schinken war sehr lecker. Der Teig war locker und gar nicht trocken. Die Preise sind erstaunlicherweise sehr niedrig.

This is a little gem of a gluten free bakery in the heart of Porto. A little difficult to find but there is a sign it’s next to the entrance to underground car park.
The food here was delicious. A great selection of pastries. The menu is actually a book. Waffles, pancakes, omelette, pastries. I had the waffle with fruit and my partner had the ham and cheese omelette. Both were delicious.
We also had pastries. The pastels de nata is freshly made. We were here about 11.30 and they were just coming out the oven. Warm and delicious. The chocolate brownie was gooey and rich.
It is a bit more expensive than a cafe but then again I find most gluten free only cafes are. I didn’t mind paying the money as it was worth it. Friendly staff too.

Friendly staff but the offering is not that big. We wanted to take away but was told that it would take a while because they have to serve those dining in first. We ended up leaving but it is good to know that we have the option of returning if needed.

Although the pastries are pretty good, the rest of the options are pretty sad. Everything is overpriced a beer that you get elsewhere for 1.50€ it’s 3.20€ for example. On top of that, the manager started to argue with me when I asked for a glass of tap water after spending over 10€ in food there. This is illegal by Portuguese law. The manager/owner didn’t stop there, she came outside after me arguing about it and asking if it was a new law. The conversation went on for what felt like 10min and when I went to pay, she also decided to say that she was checking if it was true… which ofc it is! So my friends everytime you buy something there (for lack of alternatives) please ask for a glass of tap water and if they refuse request the complain book! It’s the red book like the one printed on the wall ;)

Great little place and they’re really careful about allergies - we had celiac and nut allergies in our party. Their bifana is great and the gf bread is crusty and really good.

What a treat to find postel de Nata and Portuguese cheesecake in a dedicated gluten free bakery in the old city. Lisbon only has one gluten free bakery ( out of three) that makes these traditional desserts, but it is closed temporarily. Porto has two, one in the old city and easy to get to. Not necessarily easy to find as it doesn’t stand out in the small cement square. So worth it!

Came here based on the gf app. If did not disappoint. From the pastel de nadas to the pork sandwich and hot dog franceshenia it was all delicious. Highly recommend. Also had gf super bock beer. Highly recommend.

On this trip, we stayed in Porto, Lisbon, Madrid and Barcelona and hands down the food and pastries at Com Cuore were THE BEST anywhere. Trust me! Having celiac and traveling can be challenging - this was a godsend!

A little sneaky tucked away in a little plaza up and alley off by the Sao Bento station. I’m in absolute heaven! Was worried I’d never get to experience the famous Francesinhas and this was beyond my expectations. Fat and Happy!

Great hot dog and ham sandwich, it’s a shame that the service is awful, the waitresses and owner yelling each other, so rude to customers and it’s so full at lunch time that they don’t even want serve you. 1h waiting my order, inside is so hot they don’t turn the AC on.

This place probably survives on their celiac-friendly name since the food is poor quality, small portions and slow service. If you're able to skip this place I would suggest you do that...

Unfriendly staff and not so great food. I had chocolate muffin but it was very hard and did not taste fresh. I wanted to taste pastel de nata but they ran out already at 11 am.

Decent gluten free Bifanas. I went here a few times during my stay, whilst the food was good, the service was slow and they were often out of stock on many dishes.

Everything is gluten free, so is a good option for celiacs. The place is busy, service is slow, food is okay, I had a hot dog, a croissant, it was good, fair price and safe. The owner is a bit rude, but again is safe, good location and price, so I’d go back :)

Sadly had a very bad experience, considering this place is 100% gluten free it was the worst food I’ve ever eaten. I’ve never sent food back in my life as being coeliac I take what I can get, but the crepe was cold, raw and utterly inedible. I explained to the waitress who was very understanding but the owner came out very angry and demanded we pay for both crepes when I had one bite of one. In order to prevent a full blown row in the street I agreed to pay for the one I had taken a bite of. The owner was quite aggressive and it really took us by surprise. The photograph of our food says it all! If you want a 100% gluten free place in Porto go to 100 Culpa instead!

Wonderful. I had the traditional egg tart for later, a muffin for the morning and an ice cream in the sunshine out front. All gf. All delicious. I read another review say hard to find. I had no trouble by using the directions in this app. Highly recommend.

This place was difficult to find and after walking 20 mins tonfind rhe place I was very disappointed that they would not serve us take out/to go. We tried to explain that we wanted some pastries to take but they insisted (very sharply)that they can only serve those who were seated at a table. There was a small display case with just a few items so I could not tell if there were more items. My rating is about the experience not the food.
