Great selection of gluten free and healthy foods.
We had the Pad Thai and it was excellent! Staff is knowledgeable. I have eaten here several times over the last five years and it’s always great!

We came here for breakfast. Had a lovely breakfast burrito. The wrap was great and overall the food was delicious. The staff said the gluten free food was prepared separately.

Be prepared to spend a few bucks here for lunch. Amazing food, clear GF options on the menu, bakery options for GF and V too. The food was delicious which made the bill worth it. We had the satay noodle bowl with citrus shrimp - insanely yummy! The nori bowl - husband said it was delicious. Their GF/V chocolate cake is dark chocolate and not too sweet… also so so good.

We went here for lunch with my daughter who is vegan. Almost everything could be made gluten free if not everything. It was very good, I had a grilled cheese with tomato chutney, I only wish that they could offer gluten free white bread as I do love the multif Grain bread and seeds, my stomach doesn't love it, I do realize,e that I could have gotten a wrap but I did enjoy the sandwich and I would have enjoyed it more with the white bread option. The treats we bought were to die for, brownie, lemon square and butter tart slice, so good!

Omg this place was so good. It was healthy but filling and tasty. They had a variety of bowls and sautéed dishes. At least 3 gf desserts, a kids menu, and lots of different warm and iced drinks.

Loved my experience here I went with my whole family. My kids got the kids meals which where great. They where extremely nice and knowledgeable about me being celiac and lactose intolerant! Loved the food and macha! They also have separate and marked tongs for the baked goods in the glass. The seemed to be very caring about allergies and autoimmune. Super awesome for a quick bite as well and they have to go options great if your just going through town extra.

Went here for an early dinner & was very impressed! A ton of menu items are naturally GF already and they were very celiac aware - my server even said his mom has celiac and eats there regularly. I had the pad Thai with shrimp and it was delicious; and big portion with plenty of leftovers for the next day.

Communitea is a nice place to stop by for some healthy eats pre or post hike. The avocado toast was pretty basic and pricey but did the job. There are also bowls, wraps, and sandwiches available. I recommend going between 11am - 7pm as there are a lot more GF options than on the breakfast menu. The cashier said they have a "celiac" button to alert staff to take extra precautions when preparing meals.

I stopped in for lunch here while on a day trip to Canmore. I had looked at the menu online, and was shocked to see so many gf options! I had a grilled cheese and the bread was AMAZING.

We were told by a friend this place was good for gluten free food. My BF is celiac and he loved the wrap he got. We both got the bacon & egg panini/wrap
We were also told the macaroons were good- and that’s an understatement - amazing. They even have GF & vegan ones available.

I grew up in Canmore, and Communitea has always been one of my favourite places for food and tea! Make sure to let the staff know when you’re ordering that you are celiac and they’re really good. I always get the chipotle chicken and avocado quesadilla. Never had a sick stomach!

Lots of gf options, staff appeared knowledgable about celiac (but be sure to mention it, don't just assume!).
Yes
Awesome food, great tea and coffee! Friendly, Knowledgeable staff. Safe for celiac. Just an update from my last review. I unfortunately lowered my rating a bit. My experience yesterday was not as good as before. The food took almost an hour, then the order was messed up when I finally got it, so I had to wait for them to remake it, and they were rude to me, even though I was very nice and calm when I mentioned the issue. Perhaps a stressful day for them, but they should not take that out on customers.

The best food. The best place. We come here every time we are in Canmore. Most of the menu is gf and they are very careful! And the Buddha Bowl is to die for. (All the food is - it’s hard to pick favourites)
Yes
Great food, great people, no sick stomach!

Came here two times on our visit to Canmore. Food was quite tasty and celiac safe. Loved the Pad Thai and curry for lunch. Breakfast was good as well, but not as many gf options. Many gf treats to choose from, including yummy gf cupcakes on Fridays.

A must visit for a Celiac in Canmore. I love their wraps for breakfast and the coffee is amazing.

Let's see. We were in Canmore for six days and ate breakfast at Communitea FOR SIX DAYS! Most days, I had the Gourmet Grilled Egg, Ham & Cheese in a gluten free wrap plus some bacon which was absolutely wonderful. Rich, but not too rich. I also tried the Breakfast Burrito, which was also very tasty. My wife loved the Big Breakfast Bowl and had that just about every day. The staff is terrific about accommodating any dietary restrictions. My wife has Celiac and a dairy allergy and she had no problems whatsoever eating here. We both highly recommend.

Good food but quite expensive. Has a well labeled menu for gluten free.

Lots of gluten free and dairy free options and knowledgable staff. Vegan friendly also! Coffee was tasty and food yummy and healthy. Perfect meal before heading out for a hike.
Yes
gluten knowledgeable. But don't dare ask some of the staff if the kitchen can accommodate a person with celiac - the unfriendly cashier lady will expose her unwelcoming attitude.
Yes
This place was great. They are sensitive to food allergies so just let them know. We had great wraps on rice tortillas. (Try the chipotle chicken quesadilla). The gluten free brownie was super legit too. My favorite place we have been in Canmore. Great service and atmosphere.
