Staff very knowledgeable about gluten free. A good selection of food to chose from. French toast awesome. GF fried catfish and walleye dinner is the best fish meal in Springfield.

Very friendly service, happy to answer questions. Good GF bread, but despite fish “breading” being rice based and GF, there is only a shared fryer so nothing fried is celiac safe. This significantly limits the options.

We went in and asked about gluten free options, and were told "only toast and fish are gluten free." We ordered fish sandwiches on the gluten free bread and asked them to leave out the sides, since those wouldn't be safe. After waiting a very long time for a take-out order, we opened it to find everything covered in fries, which were never mentioned as a gluten free option. We decided we didn't feel comfortable eating it.

I've been to Cook's Spice Rack a couple times and I'm a big fan of this restaurant. From the outside, it's unassuming and you'd never think you'd be able to eat gluten free, but they do a great job! It's very exciting to be able to get fried/breaded items at a restaurant! I've had fried fish, a friend pork tenderloin, fries, and onion rings. Highly recommended!

We went for a late lunch while in town. We loved that they served breakfast all day! The next morning, we went there again for breakfast. The staff was so friendly both times we went. They really understand food allergies and are very considerate of their customers. I would definitely recommend this place!

Busy little place. Gluten knowledgeable. The tenderloin I got was breaded with rice flour. It was very tasty, but a little chewy. And the chili was amazing. Will defiantly revisit my next time in Springfield.

The owner is very knowledgeable about gluten free and makes most of the gluten free items herself to be sure that they’re safe. The homemade gluten free bread is the best I’ve ever had! Try this place! You won’t be disappointed!!
