The server was very knowledgeable and said “that’s no problem!” when informed I have celiac. The menu is marked, they have a gluten free bun and a dedicated fryer! It’s so nice to have fries in a restaurant again since it’s so rare these days. Food was good and I didn’t get sick. The gluten free buns came out marked.

Had an amazing lunch here. Gluten free items are clearly marked on the menu and there were plenty of options. I got the Hula sticks chicken and the sauce on it was so good. I also got the sweet potato fries which are made in a dedicated fryer. They were some of the best fries I’ve ever had. I didn’t have any reaction and the food was delicious. I’m planning to visit again during my trip.

We had a delicious gluten-free meal at this low-key and welcoming restaurant! We opted for noshing on shared plates. We clarified that we were celiac and we had zero reactions. The sweet potato fries were plentiful and tasty, and the Hula Sticks were fabulous with a sweet and tangy sauce you’ll want to lick directly off the plate. The pineapple slaw was fresh, crisp, flavorful, and creamy. We’ll definitely return!

We ate here twice during our eight night trip to Maui. The food is very good and they are very knowledgeable about celiac. We got baskets of regular fries and sweet potato fries (dedicated fryer) both times. The GF buns are yummy and made somewhere locally. My celiac daughter got the catch of the day fish sandwich the first night and said it was delicious and the Luna hamburger the second night. It was very good too. She is very sensitive to cross contamination and she didn't have any reaction either time.

A great find! Our server was excellent and offered a lot of advice and reassurance about how they manage allergies. They have a GF fryer and the regular and sweet potato fries were great. I had an excellent burger on a GF bun. Lots of other options for GF as well.

My daughter is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and wheat. They were very careful and were knowledgeable about food allergies. She had a hamburger and fries one night. She really enjoyed it. Then, she tried the ribs the next time and they were delicious.

Nice little place on the top floor, with a surfer/diner atmosphere! We had a knowledgeable, funny waiter and ordered the Don Ho and the Hula Chicken on a gluten free bun with a side of gluten free sweet potato fries and regular fries. The menu is marked with plenty of GF options and everything is reasonably priced. Great place to enjoy some outdoor dining right by the beach! Ask for Leif he’s the best!

Fries were safe, yay! But burger tested positive for gluten on the NIMA. I suspect it was toasted in a contaminated toaster. Make sure to ask about that if you plan on getting a GF bun.

My oh my!! The service was fantastic, attentive, and careful! I felt very comfortable and confident that my food was safe. 2022 Ate here twice; I had a lettuce wrap burger that was good with no reaction. (Can’t eat GF bread with yeast.) Had Hawaiian chicken with sauce that was a little disappointing the other time. Slight reaction but may have been from something else. 2019 There is nothing on the web site about the gluten free menu, but they do have one. It is small, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5. The prices are more reasonable than most places in Maui. The Hula Chicken is outstanding. My husband had a regular burger and said it was excellent. 1950s decor. Open air seating. Root beer floats free with coupons from other places in the center.

This is a total tourist fried food diner joint, that was perfect for our kids. The food was good, and more importantly they were super knowledgeable and accommodating for celiac.
