The service was wonderful and the restaurant was very welcoming. My son has Celiac Disease so I can’t personally comment on his food but he ordered the Chicken Madeira and it looked amazing and he says he loved it. He ate everything on his plate so I would have to agree, he enjoyed his dinner. There is a separate gluten free menu with lots of options. His plate was served first and separate from our order. The rest of our us also thoroughly enjoyed our food.

Waited 2 hours to get my food and after I ate the food, I realized they gave me the wrong item. Thank God it was gluten free, the manager literally said “thank God.” Overall, unorganized and tbh I feel like I ate a plate of gluten. Bloated, uncomfortable and incredibly gassy. Shame on people who don’t take gluten free seriously.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Came here for a solo dinner in the bar area. Made very clear to the waiter I was celiac. He then proceeded to bring a loaf of bread to my table, which was only me. Got a sandwich with gluten free bun. Found a suspicious looking fried onion in it. Was sick the next two days

We were accompanied by our gluten detection dog. They had gluten free bread which was good and our meal was off the GF menu. The dog “all cleared” the meal except for the butter dish (could have been cross contamination from handling or a couple crumbs in the butter). We asked for one fresh prepared and he cleared it. We’d be very comfortable going back with the dog as back up and cautious without him.

I want too love this restaurant, but I was given a regular dessert, even after ordering off the gluten free menu, reminding the waitress of my allergy and asking her to notify the kitchen and to change gloves. Yeah, yeah, yeah… she said she did. Well, I got home and had the regular dessert, not gluten free. Found out after the first couple bites. Manager was accommodating with a free meal for the future, but only after I drive back to the restaurant with the dessert! Sigh.

Waiter was horrible. I honestly think he was high. I have been to several other locations and never had an issue at any of them and food was always good. This location is different. Food was not good and my celiac daughter was sick the next day. All she had was a salad. She has eaten at a different location and was fine.

Cooper’s Hawk is amazing for GF/Celiac’s. You ask for the GF menu at the hostess desk. The food is safe and absolutely delicious. I’ve been there twice this week and can’t wait to go again 🥰

A huge gluten-free menu is available and the food is amazing. They even made me my own gluten-free roll. My husband had the steak and shrimp and it was delicious and I had the chicken piccata which was the best I’ve ever had. I also had Brûlé for dessert. They had several desserts you can pick from gluten-free as well. The best of the red wine if you like your wine less sweet. they were good about letting us try the wines before we bought a glass. The waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was nice and new looking. It is absolutely become my favorite restaurant here.

I usually love this place, and have never had an issue, but the most recent time I got glutened. There was a noodle mixed in with my meal, and then when I talked to the manager about it, he said that they boil all items together. So they boiled my green beans in with the regular pasta and other items. He said the water is so hot that it “cooks off the gluten”. There’s always a risk eating out, but be extra careful here!

This is the only restaurant where I feel completely safe ordering any item off their GF menu. And they have the most extensive GF menu in this area!

I have eaten at Cooper’s Hawk Annapolis many times over the years. I just ate there for the second time since my celiac diagnosis. The menu is extensive, and their recommended wine pairings are helpful. There is an actual physical gf menu. It has a number of good offerings. Last time the salad I ordered came out with croutons by mistake. The server was very embarrassed and said she threw it out herself and spoke with the chef. I appreciated the server’s concern. It was a good meal and evening.
Fortunately this time there weren’t any hiccups. The server said she marked my order “gluten allergy”, which would mean it would be cooked separately. The server brought me warm gf bread, a good Cabernet S., a kale caesar side salad and, for the main course, a Black and Bleu cheeseburger, grilled squash and fresh fruit. It was all delicious. I may join their wine club.
