I ordered the soup of the day (vegetable soup) with gluten-free soda bread. Made it clear I had an "allergy" to gluten, it was important, etc. When the food finally came out, the cook had added barley without informing anyone! The bread was also the regular kind, not gf!
To be clear, the servers are not to blame. My server actually saw the barley as soon as she put my bowl down. The cooks simply do not care however.
