All their meat is supposed to be GF, the beans, sauce, green beans, coleslaw and potato salad are also GF. Just not the bread or mac or cobbler.
I have eaten numerous times and never gotten sick. I don’t eat the sausage based on reviews and I don’t eat the sauce because it would be a crime to put sauce on excellent meat!
Yes
The food was delicious but I got very sick. I ate the brisket and ribs dipped in their sauce which they said was gluten free but definitely was not.
No
I got the brisket and sausage. There’s bread on the tables, and I think my kids cross contaminated me. Not the restaurant’s fault of course. I loved the brisket. I’ll update to five stars after I go again if it was my kids.
We have 3 in our family with Celiac. We have eaten here multiple times with no issues. We also steer clear of the sausage.
Excellent BBQ and worth the drive from Austin. The celiac twins have enjoyed the brisket, ribs, and chicken, as well as the potato salad with no ill effects on multiple occasions. We confirmed that there is no wheat/gluten in their sauce or the rub used on the meats. I won't risk sausage in general, so I didn't even ask.
