Don't eat here. I was initially told nothing on the menu is gluten free. Then I was told only the pork is gluten free and possibly the tossed salad. Didn't bother dining here since no one had a clue.

Previous comment stating fries are gluten free is incorrect. We drove 30 minutes past our destination due to this review, so I want to save others the trouble. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dry rub ribs are safe.

Cooter Brown’s doesn’t have a lot of gluten free options, but some do exist! I had dinner yesterday with the owners who are old family friends, and they helped me find what I could eat. The fries are gluten-free! As are the ribs and wings, so long as you don’t get them with sauce on. The dry rub they use is gluten free and it tastes amazing! If you’re looking for some good down-home BBQ, and of you’re willing to not have barbecue sauce, definitely give this place a try!
