The girl taking our order didn’t seem to know if the tortillas were gluten free. Another girl went to ask if the spinach ones were and she said yes. I don’t think they were. We asked for the manager because we didn’t trust the food on the line, as they run flour tortillas along the line and touch them with the utensils. We asked if they could get food from the back that hadn’t been cross-contaminated. She looked at me like I had two heads and she had never had anyone ask her to do that before. How can you say you’re a celiac-safe restaurant if you don’t understand the basics of cross-contamination. If they want to be a safe place for those with Celiac, then they need to do better.
