I ordered the Asian pork HOT sandwich .. The GF bread was cold and tasteless.. Not recommended.. :-( sad disappointment..
They have "gluten friendly bread" available for an extra charge. That sounded like GF bread but I asked them to be sure. The girl working the counter was completely clueless. She knew they had the gluten friendly bread but admitted she had no idea what that meant. After speaking with the manager he confirmed it was indeed GF bread. Wow, that's gotta be the worst phrasing in the industry. Slow service too. Dear Corner Bakery: Please train your employees better and give your GF bread a more sensible name.
No gluten free items. Staff and manager are clueless. Used to really enjoy it here before I learned of my intolerance. If I eat here, I get the Harvest Salad with no croutons/cracker toppings and it's just not as good without. Wish they and their sister company Maggianos would wake up!
They have one GF bread and a gluten free soup. It was a waste of my time going there for the items they said they had but didn't.
Sandwich was great!!!
The atmosphere is great and the person taking my order very helpful by letting me know gluten free paninis are available. I stopped by for breakfast and found the sausage, egg, and cheese interior was great. However, the panini was dry and tasteless. Non gluten eaters will enjoy this place. So if you're the only gluten free in the group and willing to sacrifice once again...go for it.
Went here for breakfast today. I was really hopeful because they advertise GF bread. The staff was not well trained on GF. I almost walked out. However the manager came up and was knowledgeable. I was able to order a scramble with fruit and GF toast. The GF toast was not worth the 2 dollar Upcharge. Yuck! If you go, be sure to go on a week day when they aren't busy so you can talk to a manager.
They have gluten free bread (pita-ish) that can be subbed on any sandwich. I got the Chicken Pomodori panini, all-natural chicken (grilled), fresh basil and spinach, oven-roasted tomatoes and provolone cheese with pesto mayo. They have an allergen guide and made sure the mayo was gluten free for me, which it was. It came with a bag of kettle chips and a pickle spear. Very good!
This particular location in Burbank does not have a gluten free menu. They did say they occasionally carry gluten free bread (which they didn't have today) but that's the extent of their GF options. I Was able to eat the farmers eggs which were delicious.
They can't even make a salad gluten free. No amount of begging to not add bread to a dish goes ignored and they put bread on top of your food. Sent back my salad that had been topped with bread. The salad they brought back was supposedly never touched but since I'm sick 5 minutes after eating it...
