We had a very negative experience here. As requested on their menu, I led off with a statement about celiac and how I needed everything to be gluten free. I confirmed that the fries were unsafe and therefore I ordered a burger that the website was GF other than the bun (they only had notations on the online menu, not the paper menu, so I had to cross reference the website while reading my paper menu) plus a side salad. Every single thing came with gluten - fries on my plate (and all over the burger) croutons on my salad, and - as we figured out later - probably not even a GF bun. When we told the food runner that I couldn’t eat the fries, she removed the fries and brought back the same burger. We told the server I couldn’t eat anything that had been brought out, she grabbed my plate and went off to the kitchen without another word and then next thing I knew we had another server. No harsh words or inflections were used - I just wanted food I could eat. The new server was overly helpful and brought me food with an allergy flag and no trace of gluten that I could see. The new burger had a completely different looking bun so we figured nothing on my original plate was right. After all that, I found a small plastic shard at the bottom of my salad and the food was less than stellar. Later that evening I still developed some gastrointestinal distress so it probably still wasn’t right. I think the original server was uneducated on gluten free and rather than say so she just did what she would normally do. I highly recommend anyone who does attempt this restaurant to use the words severe allergy in an attempt to get your needs understood and taken care of properly. But I myself will never be back, and neither will the rest of my dining party based on how they handled my requests.
