Our excellent waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten and gave me some options for dinner (a beef dish with Brussels sprouts). I was able to have Caesar salad and dessert with gluten items on the side for my friend. The restaurant may not be ideal for celiacs (pizza and pasta) but they know about gluten and made feel secure about eating there.

This Italian restaurant is fully incapable of making anything gluten free, which is what the waiter told me at a group dinner. They primarily serve pizzas and pastas, but also have several starters, other entrees, and sides. Even their roasted potatoes “have too much gluten.” I was stuck with a side of brussels sprouts.
