1st night in New Orlean(a Sunday). Choose this place for proximity to hotel. Arrived and was told there was a 45 minute wait but they had TONS of open tables and everyone after us was immediately seated without reservations. Sat at the bar after being told of the long wait. There where only 3 GF options, 2 salads and one jambalaya. One new girl working bar basically alone. Took over 20 minutes to get our order in(she did have a full bar, but no extra people hanging around). The gentleman to our one side got his order quickly. My husband's order followed about 10 minutes later. I had to ask her to check on mine after waiting 45 minutes, after I ordered, a salad!! Finally my food arrived. It had blue cheese on it which makes me gag but i was to hungryat that point to send it back. After picking through the salad, we had to wait again for our check. Overall I would avoid this place.

Excellent service. I had gluten free jambalaya, and it was good.

There are very few GF options on the menu, even most of the oysters have breadcrumbs added so you need to request them without that. I had the jambalaya and it was okay, nothing spectacular. For the price I think there are better options elsewhere.

Stuck to safe items - chargrilled oysters and blackened gator. Had no problems

Skip it- there are only 3 options that are GF,and the salad I chose was just meh. If your group really wants to eat here you should be safe, but you won’t be glad you had a meal here.

Now called Coterie thank you today’s day and age. No longer called Huck Finn but same owners staff. Had the jambalaya and it was so good. The hurricane drink is so fruity. Very good.
My husband who can eat gluten loved the meal he got too.
This place kept their menu but changed their name to Coterie. We had breakfast. It was mostly tasteless, the waitress didn’t know anything about gluten and the reported that they really only had a gluten free menu for lunch.
No
The waiter was knowledgeable. GF menu was limited, but the jambalaya was very good and I did not get sick.
Excellent waiter who knew about GF and accommodating kitchen staff.
Poor selection and when I specifically asked about other allergens I was misdirected and then got sick.
They had several items on their menu marked as GF. I had the Jumbalya and added an order of shrimp on top. It was delicious and a very generous portion. Our server, Jeff, was friendly and efficient.
Yes
Shrimp and grits are not gluten free. Up all night sick

Gluten free items are marked on the menu. Most blackened dishes can be made gluten free on request. GF items limited to entrees. The jambalaya was quite good. Nice casual environment.
