did a great job making sure no food was cross contaminated!

I’m glad others had a good experience. They couldn’t find their gf menu, and obviously the servers at the time weren’t trained enough to know what I could eat. I left frustrated.

No food for celiacs. They won’t take the necessary precautions to avoid gluten crossed contamination. They even have a big warning sign in the entry saying that they’re food may be contaminated with a very long list of allergens. They said I could eat at my own risk.

My 6 year old is celiac. They didn’t have a lot of options. I got her a cheeseburger on a gf bun. The fries are not safe. I was nervous but the waiter seemed knowledgeable and sent our food back before it even reached the table when fries were on the plate. So that made me feel much better. Suuuuper pricey but my daughter ate the entire burger so I’ll take it.

Good burgers with GF bun. I was told to stay away from the fries by the server so that was nice.
Yes
The food was decent, and they knew what was gluten-free. That was nice. The only problem was that the only thing gluten-free was the hamburger and most condiments. They charge a flat fee of 16 bucks for a hamburger and french fries. Given that you can't eat french fries (not GF), they don't offer a discount. So basically you are spending $16 on a airport grade hamburger with a gluten-free bun. I should mention that the gluten-free bun is a 1.89 up charge as well. So the actual price was closer to $18 for a meal that suddenly feels relatively dismal after you see the final price tag. After we ate here we were still hungry so we went down to a place called Islander Bar near gate D4 and had an amazing fish taco dinner that was about the same price. Far more generous serving of food and as long as you get the fish grilled and not fried you are in the clear from gluten. I appreciate this place has efforts to provide a gluten-free bun, but for a hamburger so small that I had room for another meal afterwards, I have to say it's not worth $18.
Decent options and knowledgeable. Good tasting food.
We ate breakfast here. They have gluten free buns for breakfast sandwiches, and gluten-free omelettes that are huge. The coffee is tasty.
Amazing breakfast with lots of options for celiacs. I ordered an omelette which had very generous portions of bacon, spinach and cheese. They offered a gluten free bun instead of toast. My husband was impressed with the quality for an airport restaurant.

Knowledgeable staff. Frier no bueno for celiac. Please fix it!
Yes
Had lunch today there. No gluten free menu. Fries are not safe as they share frier. They have chips but are not gf. They have gluten free bun. The quality for the price was a joke. Expensive to eat in plastic dishes. Specially the kids mini burger, they should be called micro burger.I do not which kind of kid could be satisfied with this...
No
Great gluten free knowledge. They have a dedicated fryer, but my server told me that they had been having some issues with cross contamination, so I shouldn't get fries. They do have gluten free buns. Very nice place, especially for an airport.
Yes
Rosemarie who greeted us was VERY knowledgeable and helped me navigate the menu effortlessly. She crossed off all items with gluten. (Most places just shove an allergen binder at you, or worse just give you a blank look when you say “gluten”) so nice to be well taken care of!! Staff is very well taught.
Yes
Very good and staff are knowledgeable. Good burger and Tito’s 🙏🏼 they also have GF shakes that are safe without the whipped cream
Yes
Based on previous reviews we made our way here. I have severe celiacs and end up in an ambulance on my way to the ER when I have any so eating in the airport is scary and very limited. Rosemarie was who greeted us and was very helpful. She crossed out all of the items I couldn’t eat. She informed us that the second fryer was down so not to eat the fries or bacon due to cross contamination right now. Should be fixed soon. Even if I get sick she informed my server and did her best to protect me. That’s a win as far as I’m concerned. Also the shakes are safe without whip cream

Sooo, as I was reading the reviews, one person spoke of the infamous and majestic Rosemarie. Fear not friends, she is real and knows her stuff. She specifically took the time to mark off every item that wasn’t gluten free friendly and, as a 16 year celiac, she even knew a few ingredient choices that weren’t celiac friendly that I didn’t even know about. Pretty impressed. I haven’t gotten the food yet, I don’t know if it will taste as well as the service, but I don’t care. I’m hungry can I’ve been traveling all day, and I feel like I’m not going to be glutenated! Sweet!
Yes
Three stars as a rating is required but didn’t eat here because couldn’t. They are gf friendly ONLY if you aren’t sensitive to cross contamination. Offer chips instead of fries but the burgers are just slapped, into a gf bun, with no effort at making them safe for celiacs. Was turned away as they said they couldn’t accommodate celiac. Disappointing since this is listed on this site as celiac friendly. Do appreciate the honesty. Miami airport was impossible to eat at as a celiac. Had to make do with cereal I’d brought and milk from Starbucks.
No
Rosemarie was very knowledgeable. She is informed and alerted us to gluten preservatives in the organic whipped cream and American cheese. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The dedicated fryer was down, so my daughter was given potato chips instead. She was happy and felt safe eating here.
Yes
Updating my previous review as I was able to try this place this time around. As others mention, Rosemarie is very helpful and takes the time to go through the menu and cross off items that are not gluten free. Was very impressed that she took the time given the busy environment. I had a hamburger with GF bun and various sides. Both normal and sweet potato fries are fried in a separate fryer so no issues there.

Would have loved to try this place, but their posted hours are not correct. Was told they do not open until 7:30AM. Typical for airport restaurant to just do what they want.
Yes
A couple things first: 1. This very place is expensive! Be prepared to spend $10 and up 2. It’s not the best food in the world lol But to a celiac who hadn’t had REAL FOOD in a week..this place was heaven! I ended up ordering off of the kids menu, since I was weary about the price and getting sick...gobbled up everything and was absolutely fine..NO REACTION..I was thrilled..went back and got more!
Yes
Risemarie really knew her stuff. Nice to have a non-salad option in an airport!!
Yes
Awesome! Great burger. Dedicated fryer.
Yes
The staff and especially Rosemary were amazing! Very knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination. The French fries were awesome!
The staff was knowledgeable and helped us find all of their gluten-free options. They have gluten-free buns, burgers, and more. Their fries are even in a dedicated fryer.
Just came back from a mission trip in Cuba. Had to carry all my food. Hadn’t eaten any real food in a week. They have GF hamburgers and FRIES. Saved my life. Rosemary knows her stuff. She has done some study on GF
Yes
Had a burger on gluten free bun and Rose helped me with GF toppings. Did not get sick. I have celiac.
Yes
so happy to find this place! Rosemarie, the hostess, walked me through the menu, crossed off everything I could not eat. they have a separate fryer for French fries and gf buns for burgers.
Knowledgeable staff, great burgers and dedicated fryer. A rare find for airport food!
Peggy crossed all the gluten items off the menu for me. I was able to build my burger to my liking. Even the fries were safe.
Yes
Terrible experience. I was very clear about my allergy and my grilled cheese came out on gluten-filled Texas toast. I asked if it was gluten free and the server said "it's just bread and cheese, so yeah". I only knew this was not gf because I had been to a different location before. I said I need gluten free and he was surprised I needed my bread to be gluten free. I am still in shock. When my gluten free grilled cheese came out, it wasn't cooked at all. Just cold cheese on a bun. The sweet potato fries were cold also. This location is an embarrassment to The Counter franchise. The location in NYC has always exceeded my expectations.
No
Hostess extremely knowledgeable on GF options, which are plentiful.
Great knowledge of GF options!! Separate fryer for sweet potato fries were a great surprise!!
Yes
My server was knowledgeable, and gave me a celiac menu right away. She also had the presence to mention that everything was gluten free while delivering my plate. Just an extra double check to let me know she got the message. I really appreciated that. And it was a good burger, too.
Yes
Rosemary@ MIA (Miami international airport) was amazing and saved me from being glutened. The American cheese they use contains gluten so she had my order changed immediately. The hamburger bun tasted like a normal bun. I'm so thankful for this app so I was able to eat safely while waiting for our flight. She also gave me the card and crossed off everything I couldn't have in he menu so if I go to another Counter I would be safe!
Very knowledgeable. GF burgers, buns and fries.
Wonderful food!! Definitely Celiac Friendly!!!
Seriously fantastic food and the service staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Dedicated fryer, so I got to have sweet potato fries! I also had the "tuna burger in a bowl" (a tuna patty atop a bed of organic greens). It was absolutely delicious! I really wish I had access to a restaurant like this at home. Can't wait for the opportunity to eat there again.

Knowledgeable server and dedicated frier for the fries!

Just perfect! 20 mins wait for fresh burgers and fries to the take out counter; worth it. Gate D33. Friendly service, en Français!

Very good! Also, I did not get sick there from cross contamination.
Yes
Awesome food, and they have a dedicated fryer so fries can be eaten here! Delicious burger with GF bun. Very happy with my meal here. I recommend it highly!
Yes
The food was ok. We paid almost $4 more a little hashbrown smaller then McDonald's hashbrown. Very expensive.
The bun is not worth the cost. I thought it might be that's why we came here. My recommendation is just go somewhere else and get an omelette.
I will not be back.
This was our second time here. My son has celiac. The burgers are so yummy and for the first time in years he ate french fries without having to worry since they have a dedicated fryer. Its NYC so yes it isn't cheap but they are large portions.Staff was very knowledgeable.
Yes
Burger was great! Bun was ok. Sweet potato fries with garlic aoili is the way to go
Gluten free bun option both for breakfast sandwich or burger - not listed on breakfast menu but I asked and it was fine. Good bacon and egg, average bun, amazing to get to eat a proper breakfast sandwich in the airport! Service on the slow side.
