I recently went to the Country Harvest in Newbury Park and got glutened. They have gluten free bread on the menu and the waiter said that things could be made gluten free, but were not labelled on the menu other than the bread. I ordered the gluten free french toast and was very excited for it. (It is a menu item listed as being gluten free). It comes with three slices of bread and by the time I had eaten the first piece and a half, I was feeling nauseous. I kept eating and finished the second piece because I was really hungry but was really not feeling great at that point. We double checked with the waiter that my meal was gluten free and he said yes.
This all happened yesterday morning and I am at home, not feeling great, and dealing with being glutened. If you need something to be gluten free, I would not go here.

They have gluten free bread on the menu but when I said it was for Celiac the owner stated that they don't accommodate gluten free patrons and insisted that I buy the sandwich anyway knowing there would be cross contamination.
I then asked if there was anything on the menu that could be prepared gluten free and she said that they don't do that at all. If you have Celiac you can't eat here.
They have breakfast and salads that are normally safe but they do not avoid cross contamination according to the owner.
