Country Pride - TA Truck Stop

One of our party with wheat allergies ate here without reaction. One of the waitresses was celiac and was VERY helpful in making our selections. We learned that the fryer is shared so avoid fried foods if you have allergies. Grilled foods are fine but ask for cracked eggs if you order an omelette. Otherwise they dip into the bowl which might have cross contamination. We took a risk on the salad bar because it was ordered with non-gluten foods at the beginning near the bowls and it looked very clean. We avoided dressings and anything with vinegar.For a meal, we both opted for the chicken stir fry without soy sauce. We brought our own GF soy (we called ahead and this was recommend to us). The food was filling and delicious.3 stars since the staff wasn't fully educated but they did have a superstar who was knowledgeable. The menu doesn't mention gluten so you have to ask.We had a good/safe experience but would prefer that the staff had this as part of their training and that the food selection and menu were altered to be GF friendly/aware.
