Crab House

Terrible terrible food. They do have a gluten free menu, which is good. But the food was awful, especially for the price. I’ve eaten a lot of seafood and crab in my life, and this was the worst. Cold, unseasoned, badly freezer burnt crab. Crab cakes were also clearly frozen and not fresh. Shrimp were not cleaned properly. Do not recommend.

I ordered raw oysters, gf clam chowder, gf crab cakes which are made gf for everyone (no filler), cauliflower mash, asparagus. I questioned her numerous times about cross contamination. She assured me they are extremely aware and careful. The manager served me my delicious dinner. It was all excellent. No problems afterward at all.

My son was excited to have the wings. Marked GF. Manager came out and we talked . Said wings were gluten friendly not for celiac. Only salad dressing available that was gf was oil and vinegar. The chips and salsa marked gf were not celiac safe. Crabs and spinach dip was gf but not the tortilla chips that were served with it. Had swordfish. Very spicy . Lots of gf options . Very knowledgeable about prep and celiac . My suggestion would be to look at menu and call Ahead before thinking have all the celiac options

Sooo awesome. They had a whole separate gluten free menu, very extensive too!! Such good food and great vibes too.

Had an extensive gluten free menu, but my gluten free meal came out with a huge pieces of Italian bread on top of it. The bread was not gluten free, terrible for a person with celiac’s disease!

Was very good. Manager came over to make sure or food was gf. My son had stuffed shrimp with crab. I had the crab cake. Nice choices.

Fabulous old bay boiled crabs and loads of gluten free sides and non-seafood entrees.

Extensive gluten free menu. Their policy is for the manager to come speak to any table that indicates an allergy to make sure everything is clear. Waiter even checked the oil in which table popcorn was made to make sure it was gluten free.
